Amazing Action Alphabet Activities Workbook Plastic Comb – March 10, 2007

I LOVE the Amazing Action Alphabet. It's really helped my 3 year old start learning his alphabet and loves to read his "abc" book but the activity book I'm only giving 3 stars. It's nice to have a printable activity to support learning but I'm finding that some activities are better than others. Such as the maze for the horse was too advanced for my young 3 year old but if you are teaching older preschool it would be acceptable. The quality of the book is as expected but I don't feel the activity book adds to the effectiveness of the program. However, it is a time saver and an easy way to support phonetic learning.

I am an early childhood educator for many years (38) and this program...booklet ...is yet another way of implementing the NECESSARY SKILLS in a fun and playful way...much needed for young children to assist them in reading development.Fun and practical ideas....all though play...the way a child learns best!

Perfect addition to my preschool library

This is a very creative ways to teach children to read and write. The illustrations are cute and age appropriate. Kids enjoy working with it.

This activity book is an excellent compliment to the flipchart. It has fun activities that are exciting and interactive. My son looks forward to doing the activities. I've seen this whole program work with children from 18 months to grade school. I wish I would have found this program earlier so I could've used it with my other children. This is by far, heads and tails above any other learning tool out there for teaching letter names and sounds!
