Most metal detectors are loud and draw attention. These lightweight headphones make it quiet and private..They are a nice price too..

Didn't have a lot of money for headphones, so I got these due to the Garrett name. I am very pleased with these. They make it much easier to discern the different tones.

They do not block out 100% of external noise but that is fine with me. It is always best to know what is going on around you. They are very lightweight and adjust easily. No sweaty ears! The volume control switch is a great idea and placed high on the cords and it is easy to adjust. The only draw back for me was the length of the cord and the fact that it was not coiled. I got the cord caught under my foot and they broke. I would definitely shorten the cord or have it coiled.

Nice and light. Good sound and adjustable volume knob is nice. However the cable is horribly cheap. Too long and stringy. Gets in the way just enough to annoy me. I can see these cans only lasting a few months before a wire connection goes bad. But hey, for $18 I got exactly what I paid for. And for that I'm happy.

I own a Garrett Ace 250 and have tried 2 other headphones.None of them work as well as these.These are light weight & fit comfortably.The volume control is the most important feature.If you own a Garrett metal detector, these are a must have.

First review: Used today for the first time. Great comfort and easy to hear.Current review: After only using these a couple of times, one side has no sound coming out of it. I knew they were inexpensive, but to have it not function in both of the ear phones after only 2-3 uses, is ridiculous. Naturally I'm well past the return date. Another recent flop from ordering on Amazon.

Serves the purpose and the price was right! I don't use my detector regularly so an inexpensive headphone set like this works perfect for me! No more having to annoy my family with the constant buzzing noise.
