Absolutely gorgeous photographs of well known British stately homes. This book is like a little vacation. Subjects are well described but it’s not a book one depends on for the text. It’s a good starter book for someone interested in the subject.

This book is very concise in its selection of great English interiors. The text is well written and the photographs are beautiful. I highly recommend this book to any collector and admirer of all things English.
