This MOLLE compatible scabbard is designed specifically to fit the Mossberg 590 Shockwave, the Remington 870 Tac-14, the Remington V3 TAC-13, and other weapons with 13 to 14-inch barrels. The scabbard covers the entire barrel, receiver, and trigger guard, leaving enough of the abbreviated pistol grip visible for an easy draw. This provides a level of safety not available on shorter scabbards designed for breaching shotguns with barrel lengths of less than 14 inches. The scabbard features an adjustable shoulder strap and MOLLE compatible PALS webbing on both sides. These are compatible with many of the MALICE clips on the market. We recommend using four of the long MOLLE Clips from High Speed Gear. When used properly, these clips provide a safe and secure lock up between the scabbard and your MOLLE pack, vest or other gear and can be easily installed and removed. The scabbard provides sufficient retention to work not only with the factory pistol grip, but also when a SB Tactical or other aftermarket arm brace is used. The Charlie Delta Tactical logo on the scabbard is now provided as a removable hook and loop patch. When removed, the scabbard is a solid color, uninterrupted by the red logo, providing you a smooth, tactical look. You can also replace it with your favorite Moral Patch.

Poor quality
Very disappointing item. Received it today, put my finger under one of the molle straps, and it immediately tore loose. See pic. Tugged gently on a second one, and it tore loose easily as well. If you strapped this to the outside of something, I’d say you could kiss your gun goodbye.

It a real nice scabbard and seems to be well built
It a real nice scabbard and seems to be well built. It fits the Shockwave with the trigger guard protected and the grip only exposed. My issue is that the shockwave must be stock without any add-ons. I have a side saddle and a top of receiver rail light, I could probably force it a little to make it fit, but may damage the scabbard and/or add-ons and definitely would be difficult to draw. If you’re purchasing for a stock shockwave with out any add-ons, I think it will work very well.

Disappointed
Overall, the dimensions and design of the scabbard are good, and it's a perfect fit for a Mossberg Shockwave. However, as others have noted, it absolutely reeked of cigar smoke when I took it out of the packaging. Moreover, 4 straps of the MOLLE webbing on the sides of the scabbard pulled free simply from tugging on them with my fingers, as pictured. This doesn't bode well for the overall quality of its construction, and I expected higher quality for the price point.

Don't add anything to your firearm.
It does what it's supposed to do, which is why I gave it 3 stars. However, it's a really tight fit and it will cos your firearm to rack back when inserting it into the sleeve. This may be a concern for folks who like to store 'em loaded. Those straps on the front and back are not Molle. They will mount loose at best if intending to hang ammo pouches..etc...on either side of it. Strap is thin; you'll want to swap it out if you intend it for heavy field use.

Good but not great. Perfect length for Mossberg Shockwave.
Good: covers tigger loop completely. Even though I roll around without a round in the chamber this is just psychologically important to me.Bad: After some normal use but not abuse, mine has a tear in the top lining fabric. Boo! Molle loops are well intentioned but loosen. I had two shotgun shells in each but now they slide out.Overall it does what I want it to.

The Best Scabbard that I wish I hadn't bought
Hi, this is a good scabbard for the Mossberg shockwave. fits tight, but not too tight. I think it will loosen up some with use. no room for accessories, but I don't have any. mine didn't fall apart like some of the reviews, but I haven't tried to load up the straps with shotgun shells either. now, the reason I wish I hadn't bought it: I ordered it at the same time I ordered my shockwave. after playing with the shotgun and scabbard a bit, I noticed the shotgun was about the same size as my Tenor Ukulele soft case. I shoved it in and it fit perfectly. zipped up and carried just like a Ukulele. you can get soft tenor cases on amazon for less than $10 if you want. I like keeping it in that case because it's less obvious what it is. be careful though it you go out in public with it like this. concealing a shockwave turns it into a AOW that needs a tax stamp. anyway, thanks for reading.

Great fit scabbard - but MOLLE stitching fails
It's a very simple scabbard and fits my shockwave perfectly - the only catch is that the stitching on the MOLLE bands for mine either didn't get tied off or finished, so when I added a shell holder to the webbing it immediately rubbed against the loose tips and started to pull the threads out. Eventually with enough jostling this whole piece is just going to flop loose in the middle of the scabbard, no a great thing for a back slung scabbard.

I am very satisfied with it
This holster/scabbard fits the Remington tac-14 perfectly and it has loops on it that you can put ammo carriers or knives or what ever you want on it! I am very satisfied with it. I does take some practice to learn how to draw when wearing it, but it's not that difficult with a little practice. This is perfect for wearing on hikes in the woods.
