Great quality, educational and cute.
This puzzle is beautiful and it has become my son’s favorite one. The pieces are colorful and they help him learn shapes, numbers as well as colors. This puzzle has also helped my son with spacial perception by helping him understand when to flip or turn pieces to fit them in their slots. Although, it is important to mention that we never used the wooden sticks and rings in the center of the puzzle because some pieces are too small and could easily be swallowed by little children. Our son is 1 1/2 years old so even though we never used the middle pieces of the puzzle we still have to supervise them when playing with the numbers or shapes pieces. Regardless, it is an amazing toy, very well made and extremely useful to improve cognitive abilities.

Excellent learning toy!
Absolutely brilliant toy. I cannot day enough good things about it. My two year old loves it. Its definitely the kind of toy that you play WITH your kid. But having color coded rings that stack onto posts that get progressively taller and that correspond to the actual number is just excellent. We are learning colors, tall and short, shapes, fine motor skills, and counting all in one beautiful toy. My only complaint i guess is that there is a light orange and dark orange and they are fairly hard to differentiate.

Perfect for little hands
Bought this for 2 years old grandson- he loves sorting and naming shapes, and counting. Kept him busy for the time we watched him, and was something he kept going back to. Perfect size for little hands- good quality. Small enough to put in the mouth so obviously have to supervise. Colorful and well made. Happy we made the purchase. Also, different pieces come in their own bags for easy packing and storage.

Great Montessori toy for the most part.
This is a great toy for counting and sorting. I like the fact that children can use color cues and or shapes to match quantities with numerals. The pegs are not tight in the slots however, and could cause frustration from falling out. I tried using small velcro circles to attach them, but I may decide to glue them in place. Of course, then I will need to find a different box for storage. I feel that this is too difficult for my pre-k kids if they have to put the pegs of different heights in the right places before the can start sorting and counting.

Fantastic learning tool!
All of my grown children attended Montessori preschool and and a public Montessori elementary school. Now that we have a granddaughter we bought this as an introduction for her to learn her numbers. She knew most of the names of the colors before it arrived and my daughter says she is learning the shapes now and is content to sit and play for a half hour to an hour putting all the shapes on the pegs and placing the numbers with their respective colors. She is almost 2 1/2 and if past experience is any indication this learning tool will be a solid foundation for understanding numbers before she enters school.

It's good...but should be cheaper
It's a fine product and does what it's intended to do. The pictures look much better in terms of colors and construction. It's not as thick or as nice of wood as I would have hoped for when spending $20 on this. It's cheap, light-weight, flimsy wood- the pegs don't sit in the holes well and lean or flip right out of their spots. The colors aren't vibrant and the counting rings are only green, red, blue and yellow - I was hoping (again like in the pictures) that they would be the correct colors corresponding to the correct numbers. With that said, I would have bought a different version of this of higher quality for $20 or more dollars.

Good toy
My son loves his shapes, colors, numbers and alphabets and this toy is perfect for him. He is occupied with it for even an hour (very rare for him) and has learned the names of even difficult shapes like pentagon. The whole thing is made of wood with no sharp edges so it’s even good for young toddlers. No paint chipping till now though my son loves to chew the shapes. The only thing i was worried about were the rings which he kept trying to swallow, so i’ll recommend Not giving that to kids until they are much older.

I compared to similar brands and happy with my choice
Great value for the price paid. My 2.5 year old loves it! I did read reviews from a similar item from a different brand where there were hexagon shapes for the number 8 and octagons for the number 6, and not true with this one. I did use some Gorilla wood glue to secure the dowels. I suppose it may take away from the fine motor challenge, but my husband toppled them over just moving from one place to another, so it saved some frustration and repeat cleaning. My other small quibble is that the numerals 6 and 9 are interchangeable, that is they both fit in both spots.

I was beyond disappointed when i received this item, delivery timeframe was amazing but unfortunately that was all.. The picture of this item is very deceiving, it appears to look bigger than it actually is, the parts are very small and absolutely not safe for small children as the parts are very small and children do put things in their mouths, could cause chocking, definitely do not recommend.
