GORGEOUS!!
I got the raccoon with black tips and it is STUNNING! Seriously soft and full, luxurious. If I paid $100 for this item I would still be thrilled. The side by side picture is Bottom: my new raccoon with black tips. Top: the collar that came with my coat after I ran it through the dryer. (Note to self: remove collar before putting in dryer!) The quality for this price is amazing; do not hesitate to order from this seller. So Happy With This Purchase!!!

A game changer for my Amazon Daily/Ritual hooded puffer coat!
I ordered one of the Daily Ritual hooded puffer coats in the silver gray color during the last Black Friday sales because of the great price and primaloft fill. It is a very nice coat and extremely warm, but pretty plain and industrial looking. So I measured the hood and looked around at what was available for fur hood trim. To my surprise, there were lots of things to choose from! I ordered this because I thought the warm tones would be a nice contrast to the cool tones of the coat. I had to wait a while for it to arrive from China (maybe 3 weeks), but it was worth it. It was pretty easy to sew the buttons (included) to the hood of the coat so that the fur trim was in exactly the right spot. And it was a total game changer for the coat! No longer industrial, but kind of cute with the addition of the faux fur trim. And it looks so real! Just beautiful actually. So now I have a polar vortex coat (suitable for teens and below) that looks nice too. :)

Fluffy!
I've been enjoying this fluffy hood ruff on a very plain snowboarding jacket that I was relegating to street-wear for about a month now, and my coworkers actually thought I'd gotten a new jacket :PIt's a very nice ruff (affectionately referred to by me and my husband as my "floof" now), and my only issue is that I think the buttons it comes with might be either too small or somehow too slippery, as a few of them will come undone, so I've added some safety pins for security. Safety pins are pretty easily hidden with all the fluffy fur, so you could always just forego the buttons altogether for safety pins instead if you prefer. I suspect at least part of the issue is that I sewed the buttons on too tightly, and they needed to be a little more loose to secure the little elastic loops, because the ones that I sewed on a little more sloppily are ironically the ones doing a better job of holding the floof on. So... sew your buttons on loosely/sloppily if you're using them!

Nice looking at a reasonable price.
Once it is attached correctly it looks nice. The problem becomes attaching the fur to the item you have in mind. In my case a parka hood. NO instructions come with the fur. In this case there are buttons you must sew onto the hood in places dictated by where the loops on the fur collar are. It also doesn't tell you that the fur needs to be folded over with the loops going over the buttons you just installed. I folded mine and attached a loop from the top and the bottom onto one button to make the fold. There appeared to be a lot of room between only three loops on the top so in the end I tacked those spaces with a loop stitch to tie them directly to the hood. All and all it looks pretty good for fake fur. I am not seamstress so I did not sew fabric to fabric which probably is a better way to attach the fur lining to the parka or collar whichever you choose to do. Good luck and for the price it is worth and not overly hard to figure how to attach it.

It's Beautiful
I wanted some beautiful faux fur trim for the hood of my parka. When I ordered this, I had no idea if it would look as nice as in the picture. Certainly the price made it tempting, and even though shipping would seem to take forever (from overseas), I decided to give it a chance. When the package arrived, it looked so small that I was certain I had been tricked... or that the collar would be horribly squashed. But surprise! It sprung out fluffy, soft and beautiful. No weird smells like some imports. It also came with a kit for attaching it to a hood, or creating a button hold as a scarf.Does it really look like red fox fur? Not really. Not like American red fox fur, anyway. But it is gorgeous. Beautiful depth of color, softness that is very close to real fur. It looks like real fur.I'm considering buying the same in other colors. I love it.
