This works well for conduit bending. You don't have to look at the display! Working with a mechanical bender, place the level on the end of the pipe, then zero it from your phone (you don't have to worry if the bender is level or not), put the phone down and listen. Easy to compensate for spring back since when you relax the pressure on the pipe it will tell you the reading, if you need more you can tweak it.

This thing is kinda fun to use, the app works great. To be extremely critical, the magnetic base could be stronger but it gets the job done. I really like that the app will also verbally relay the measurements, it’s come in handy more than once.

Works as advertised, Bluetooth end worked without any issues.

Needed the Wixey WR300 for my table saw, since I'm a little bit of a gadget freak, I ordered the Bluetooth version. The first thing I used it for was setting the compound angles on a new miter saw. The cool part was being able to work behind the saw adjusting the angle stops and hearing what the angle was on the cell phone app without having to look at the cube. The audio readout is fast, at first I thought too quick, but it settles quickly. If I could have any improvement, it'd be a stronger magnet in the base and maybe an absolute mode, but I'm happy with it now!It would be nice if people read and understood what they were purchasing rather than buying the wrong thing and then b***ing about it not working correctly.. This is an angle gauge, not a level!!

Short Story: Does NOT work with Android. Works on wife’s Iphone. Does display correct angle on display.Not Short Story:Opened the package, no instructions or links to view instructions, here we go.Found the app "Wixey Talk" on Google Play Store, downloaded and it’s just a sound simulation, it does not even attempt to connect to the device. However, it does repeat randomly generated numbers using an automated voice over and over and over. Open my bluetooth connections on my phone, scan... found it "Wixey". I go to connect... "An app is needed to use this device". The app is open, I am listening to this automated voice from the app while I am doing this. In the image you can see I have the app open in the background. No dropdowns or Bluetooth connect instructions on the app.On the positive side, it seems to display the correct angle on the device, works on my wife’s iphone, but does not function with android.

I am an electrician, and I liked using this for pipe bending. It has an easy to read backlit display and it is very accurate. I gave it 3 stars because I dropped the extra 20 bucks on the Bluetooth enabled talking one. I read the directions and downloaded the app to work with this. The app WixeyTalks is a joke!!! It is a fake simulation app that does nothing. I advise the company to make this bluetooth gadget work or discontinue the thing. I will be ordering the regular version of this after the return id complete.
