Great resource for learning this form
Another excellent dvd that has helped me feel more confident in learning this form both in & out of the classroom. I don't have arthritis but I love doing Tai Chi & have the opportunity to take this class in addition to a 24 form class. I find the movements very calming & centering and I can focus more on the flow of it. It is very gentle and to me not as physically challenging as some forms which would an be advantage if you have physical joint limitations. If you have never done any Tai Chi or you don't have access to a class to learn it I would recommend that you try Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis - 12 lessons first. If you are already familiar with some Tai Chi movements & have an arthritis Tai Chi class you might be fine with just this DVD. The sequence for the 1st 12 lessons is contained in this DVD as part of lesson 1 & I find it easy to follow. It is not taught - just a demo as focus is on the new additional forms.

A real challenge.
I have the original Tai Chi for Arthritis program and it is fantastic. This addition is really a workout, mentally and physically. To put this in context, I am 72 years old and have always been active but arthritis and age were taking a toll and I needed something that stimulated but also protected my joints and muscles and stimulated my brain. This program added to the first Tai Chi for Arthritis DVD does just that. My concentration has gotten a real boost , my physical activity has really improved and the program is so subtle you don't realize how much good you are getting out of it. Recently I worked in my garden for several hours and instead of ending in bed with hot and cold packs and pills I felt fine and didn't even hurt the next day. Bring it on weeds! With Dr. Lam's DVD, I'm ready!!

I found my Younger self!
As an aging woman (70) I was having pains in my feet and hands and losing my balance. I was at a point I couldn't even stand to get one leg up to put on my pants without leaning against the wall.. I also saw myself learning something I could do and be comfrotable with doing as it progressed through the course. By the end of the course I now have my balance back so I can stand alone to get my pants on and the pains in my hands and feet have totally gone away.. Amazing how the body works with the right movements and I feel like a new woman inside and not the old lady I had become! Best money ever spent on myself I am a whole new ME! Thank You Dr. Lam..

Good BUT Doesn't review the previous learned lessons
I like the way Dr Lam teaches each new movement. But ... The first video would show the entire form up to and including the new movement. The 2nd Disc only shows the new movement and just forgets about showing the previous learned techniques from the start up until that new movement. It would have been a much better flow for me if he continued with the first disc methodology of going through the entire form up to and then including the new movement

Excellent instruction from the creator of the form.
I am currently taking a class in this tai chi form at my fitness club. My teacher studied with Dr. Lam. This video was recommended by my teacher and it is very helpful as a home study supplement to the class. In this video, Dr. Lam teaches the more difficult part 2 of Tai Chi for Arthritis. He details the correct way of moving with the proper weight transfer for each step. That is important for a sound foundation in understanding and practicing the form. It also helps me slow down so I don't push through the steps too quickly.I definitely recommend this video as a follow up to Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 1.

defective CD
I bought the Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 1 first and when I realized that this was a helpful and easier to follow TC instruction CD, I ordered the Part 2. I only opened the Part 2 yesterday - yes, it takes a long time to completely learn to do the moves fairly smoothly - I discovered that the CD is completely unusable. It's choppy, gets frozen, skips huge chunks, and can't be navigated.I am not looking to get a refund, but I do need to learn what's on this CD.Can someone tell me how I can find a legitimate/authentic CD? Or is this particular content available via streaming?I'd appreciate any help or advice.

Tai Chi for Arthitis part 2
What I liked most from the Tai Chi cd was it was easy to follow seeing that I already have the first Tai Chi cd for Arthritis & this just follows along. It arrived in perfect condition. Thank you.

Tai Chi for all
These dvd's are the ones to buy if you are learning Tai Chi. Dr. Lam explains everything calmly and succinct. I have played this dvd through and am looking forward to going on from my Part 1 dvd. I have learned Part 1, but wish to consolidate all the moves before I venture on to Part 2. I highly recommend these dvd's.

Easy to follow and at a speed I can manage
Very easy to follow and much easier on my joins going at this speed. I bought this after attending a six week class and I felt it had improved my balance and range of movement and have missed it now that it is over. With this DVD I feel confident that I can continue with my exercises at home.

Great way to learn tai chi
This is a follow on DVD and you do need to start with part 1. Dr Lam is an excellent teacher and it suits me to learn at my own pace. Instructions are clear and you can repeat the parts you need without having to watch the whole lesson. Highly recommended
