Caught bluegills in April in the cold midwest.
I got this popper because of the great reviews. I am in the midwest and normally do not catch fish until mid May. I caught bluegills mid April, It was in the 60s. Very happy.

Best bass and panfish lure ever made
I have caught litteraly thousands of Bass, bluegill, crappie, rock bass, white perch and more with the Gaines Sneaky Pete. I have been flyrodding for bass for over 50 years and have never found a better lure. My favorite pattern is the size 6 or 8 in chartruese.
