Water filter looks/feels/fits like OEM, at a fraction of the cost. Absolutely the best price available on Amazon, or anywhere else, for that matter. (3 for $15) I did my research. I have not tested for water quality, but it seems to work fine, as the water tastes great. On the other hand, the thing could be filled with lead, and I would probably not be able to tell the difference. :-( In all seriousness though, great buy!

This was a replacement for the usual water filter for our refrigerator...We were unable to get the usual one but this was listed as a replacement. We have very bad well water where we live and require a 'tank farm' on our well. The filter that we have always used in the past (refrigerator is 20 years old) was easy to get and we changed it every 6 months to remove chlorine, iron, and other weird flavors. We put this on, followed the directions to clean out all the liens in the refrigerator by making ice and dumping it and pulling out water a few times. I enjoyed ice water for dinner last night, and enjoyed it with lunch today,.... It went in like the other, fits perfectly, and the water tastes fine..

We needed a new filter for our GE fridge so looked on line and found this highly rated filter. It came in just a couple of days and was easy to install. Unfortunately the stream out of the dispenser was so slow that it was unusable. I tried running several gallons through it and even tried slight repositioning of the filter all to no avail. Every one of the filters in the pack performed the same way which was unacceptable. Return was easy at the UPS store. Went to Home depot to pick up the HDX brand of filter to replace the GE MWF filter and it works perfectly.

I had the filter installed for 1 month and I started getting black specks in my water and ice.I tried to call the phone # that was on the box and info sheet that came with it to see if they could do anything about the defective product and the # was disconnected!!DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!! NO PRODUCT SUPPORT!!

This item is good and easy to install. Well, this is the first time we are trying out this particular unit/model/make which was installed in July 2019. Now I need to know when would be the time to replace this. The last filter had to be replaced after almost 8 months. So, maybe after another 7-8 months I will be able to gauge the performance of this unit. Thank you.

I just installed this filter in my refrigerator so I have only been using it a few days. If this filter ends up being a good product and lasting as long as the GE filters then this is a great deal. Installation was easy, price was great and received the order in two days. I usually buy my replacement filters from Home Depot but the did not have any in stock when I tried, Amazon to the rescue!

I let my filter go 5 years without replacement due to the $50 cost of the OEM filter from GE. Took a shot at this $10 filter and am very happy so far. My family drinks tap water, my city tap water tastes fine, so I'm not too concerned about how well it filters.The flow on this filter is significantly more, although that may be due to how long I had the old filter in.

My fridge just lit up that the filter needed to be changed, the last filter from this pack. I made a purchase August 5 2019 and me not needing to make another purchase for a year and 5 months is absolutely worth it. These filters are great, you have to run a little water once you switch them but you should do that with a new filter anyway. Definitely give these a try if they are right for you! 10/10 will buy again.
