Great product, coarse sand but not overly
I bought this two times previous and the consistency was perfect but this time it was a lot more coarse and the pieces were much bigger - was this changed or just a fluke?

Excellent product, poor packaging
Just what I wanted to fill my incense burner. Good size package with enough left over to refill when the time comes. Very nice natural sand with flecks of mica. BUT I was very disappointed with the packaging... The foil-lined paper bag with resealable top would have been perfect to store the sand except it burst at some point in shipping. There was sand all over everything in the box... I don't know how much I lost. Not to mention the extra clean up.

Very sandy sand
This is sand. It has very sandy qualities, being sand. Basically what I look for in sand is sand that doesn't have bugs in it and isn't off-smelling or looking. This sand does all of that! It's a little expensive, perhaps, but it comes in an adorable paper bag. It holds my sticks of incense very well. I don't really expect much from it, and it really delivers on all those expectations.

Nice, Clean, Natural Sand
Added the full bag to some of my garden potting mix. Nice quality but expensive for the small amount. YMMV but I wouldn't buy again for this reason. Would be great for one of those desktop zen gardens, however, and I would recommend for that purpose.
