Very nice chuck
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and finish of this chuck. The jaws were tight and it was ground all over. Great value, works great, could not be happier.

Fit my MX-210V lathe with minor mods
Overall a decent deal for the money. Took some filing and cleanup to get it working smoothly, but that is expected of these import chucks. The biggest welcome surprise was that the chuck fit my MX210V perfectly - apart from having a four bolt pattern where this lathe has a three bolt pattern. No backplate needed - I just lined up one of the holes with a stud from my 3 jaw chuck and used a transfer punch to set the location for the other two holes. Drilled and tapped some M8 holes about 3/4" deep and it connected just great!

Very nice chuck for the money.
my only alteration was drilling the back with a 3 bolt pattern to fit my backing plate. The bolt up went well and the self centering machining on the chuck fit. Lathe runs at 1200 rpm with no vibration and the Jaws have a good stability.Don't write many reviews but i feel this one deserves it.

Good quality it works well
Very nice 4 jaw independent chuck for the money spent. I've used it and it worked very nicely to machine an eccentric cam lock.

fully independent jaws, not self-centering
The product seems good quality but I am rating 3 because the description is misleading. I was seeking a self-centering chuck. I saw the keyword "self centering" in multiple ares of the product description, and I saw a breakout diagram in the product images (in two locations) where a spline disc is shown to drive all four jaws together, effectively giving self-centering function. But, the product has FULLY INDEPENDENT jaws, and it has zero functionality of a self-centering lathe chuck. As a beginner with these parts of tools, this description is misleading and I wish Vevor would include a PDF manual in the downloads so we can verify exactly what we are getting before ordering. My photos show how the jaw moves fully independently and the splines that drive the jaw are not interconnected.

Surprisingly good quality.
Surprisingly good quality chuck. Solid and well made. I machined a cast iron backplate for it and installed it on my 9 x 20 lathe. (I think it is the perfect size for this lathe; imho a six inch chuck would be too big.) The jaws seemed a bit sticky at first but this was solved by a thorough cleaning. The only negative was the number of sharp edges on the jaws and chuck face, but again this was easily fixed. I chucked up a back gear housing and adjusted center to within 0.0005, (the limit of my DTI), so it works well for me. I would buy it again.
