Xavax Extension for Washing Machine/Dishwasher Inlet Hose, Buckle Resistant, 2 m 2 m Standard

This is so beautifully made and looks so good, it’s a shame to hide it behind a sink or machine, lol. Comes with a washer and gave a good tight fit, both ends are made from steel and very strong unlike most others which have plastic ends. Well worth the money.

I bought one of these after being woken in the night for the second time to the sound of running water and hours of clearing up to find mice had bitten through the dishwasher hose. When I was woken for the third time to discover this hose had beaten them so they bit through the washing machine hose instead I bought a second armoured hose. These hoses together with lots of mouse poison have solved the problem.Also I like being able to tighten the hoses properly with a spanner as with our very high mains water pressure I have never found the instructions on the normal plastic hoses to "hand tighten only" very satisfactory.The only small problem with these hoses is that they have zero ability to twist which can make it a little difficult to for them to be fitted to a machine pulled out from under a work surface while ensuring there is no strain on the hose once the machine has been pushed back in place.

Perfect for adding a bit of extra length to a dishwasher or washing machine fill hose. A little expensive maybe, but great quality.

Can’t seem to get this to fit my washing machine (this is a replacement and had the same problem with the initial delivery). I’ve used a standard, rubber hose until this split yesterday and I’m finally trying to install this one (the rubber hose was supposed to be temporary). It fits the male inlet easily (both ends thread easily) but just won’t seat on the plastic male thread on the washing machine. The old hose, with a plastic female thread, fits really easily but their design is slightly different with a taper before the thread, which this does not have - this probably helps them seat squarely. It might be the plastic ones have more give and this compensates if the male thread on the washing machine is damaged slightly. Therefore, benefit of the doubt and 3 stars (more if it were to fit as I’m sure it’s far superior to the rubber hoses).

Really great extension for the inlet on my Bosch dishwasher. Worked a treat and really excellent to have the 1 meter option as opposed to all the others on Amazon which all seem to be 1.5m or 2.5m which would have filled up the whole cupboard under our sink where our extension lead resides.

Easy to use and fitted perfectly. I used it to extend a dishwasher intake hose.

A much better solution to a connection than the much cheaper plastic/rubber standard ones. Not prone to wear and tear in the same way. So although MUCH dearer they are a better investment long term.Be careful that you do NOT buy the extender hose which looks the same as I almost did.

It worked.It did the job of extending a dishwasher intake.Which was 6inches too short.So now I have 1.5m of spiralled hose under the sink.Still, it works, and its metal not plastic.I can't believe that this is not sufficient demand for these that would warrant some competition and keep the pricing SANE.This was three times the price.The difference... is that the fittings on this allow you to attach it to the existing hose BUILT INTO many appliances and then its attaches to the standard tap fitting.The others want to attach to a threaded tap fitting at both ends, and no amount of googling could find an adapter to attach A to B.This was the only one.And BOY did it come at a premium.

Bien mais pas la bonne taille

Wir brauchten eine Verlängerung für die Trinkwasserzuleitung unseres neuen Kühlschranks, da der beigelegte Schlauch doch ein Stück zu kurz war. Es war nicht ganz einfach, eine passende Verlängerung zu finden, aber hier wurde ich schließlich fündig.Der Schlauch wurde mit passenden Dichtungen geliefert und machte einen guten, stabilen Eindruck. Zum Glück hat er auch einwandfrei gepasst. Nach dem Anschließen hat es an einer Seite erst noch etwas geleckt, aber nachdem ich die Verschraubung noch etwas angezogen hatte, war das auch erledigt. Bisher scheint das auch zu halten.Ich fand 22€ zwar ein wenig teuer für so ein kurzes Stück Schlauch, aber Qualität hat ihren Preis und gerade wenn es um Wasser in der Wohnung geht, sollte man nicht sparen.Fazit: Empfehlenswerte Schlauchverlängerung mit der man vermutlich nichts falsch macht.
