The gauge is accurate and easy to read. Installed in a 1990 Toyota 4Runner with a 3.4 motor swap. Factory gauge only shows low pressure and the new gauge works correctly showing solid 70psi at start up and 15psi when idling after driving for a couple hours.

This is a wonderful gauge! I can only assume all of the Max Tow products are as well designed as this oil pressure gauge. It is a complete installation including pre-wired harnesses. The connectors are secure and yet small enough to pass through the firewall grommet without having to cut the harness. I installed this in a Jeep TJ and it was a perfect fit...however the harness was "just" long enough to fit. In the Jeep the oil pressure sending unit was mounted on the passengers side of the engine and the firewall grommet is on the far drivers side. I mounted the gauge in the center console forward of the gear shifter and the wiring was just right. If one was to install it in a full size truck where the harness had to pass from side to side it may be a bit too short and need a splice. The display is bright and evenly lit, the digital display is easy to read, both the analog and digital displays agree across the entire scale, and the dimming feature is perfect for night viewing. One not that I feel is worth mentioning.. the sending unit is 1/8"NPT and relatively small in size. My oil port on the Jeep is 3/4 NPT and it required reducer bushings "not included" to adapt to the 1/8 NPT of the sending unit to the Jeep. I also used a 3/4 NPT T fitting to the existing oil pressure switch.

I did need an angle adapter for the sending unit but that's to be expected on some model vehicles. Quality and accuracy are excellent. Very nice look and fit on gauge with many mounting options available.

This was tougher to install than I thought because I had to go through the firewall, lengthen the wires and use an m16 1/8 to 2.0 adapter between the sensor and the block. (GMC Envoy) The orange (dim), red and white wire can all together tap to the same power source since at first I was confused about the three wires. Black goes to a good ground. Found a you tube to help me out on that one. Used plastic tube wire protectors for the length of the wire in the engine compartment. Once installed works great and has a hand dial readout as well as digital. Removing the orange wire from power will make the display brighter. Since my power source is always on I installed a flipper switch to turn unit off when vehicle not running.

It's easy to install if you're mechanically inclined. I used in my 2004 f150 FX4 supercrew with the 5.4 3VI soon discovered why I was having issues with my truck and timing issues. My oil pump is weak and this not only gave me peace of mind, it also helped diagnose my issues. If I buy another 5.4 3v vehicle, I'll be back for another gauge.

It was what I needed to replace the failed gauge in my 2001 Volvo garbage truck. It’s just of by a couple p.s.i.

Great to have a 270 deg sweep on the gauge, as well as the digital read out. The magnifying lens is a little annoying, as it causes you to see a lot of reflections, but overall this is a pretty sweet gauge, I haven't found anything else like it. One other down side is it takes 2-3 seconds to finish it's sweep on startup, rather than just instantly starting to work. Can be connected to the lighting circuit in your car for dimming the backlight.

WOW. I now have all the gauges in my Jeep that I needed and then some. I was having a common issue reading oil pressure in my XJ as in any Jeep the cluster is generally wrong, don’t work, or broken. I was kind of hesitant because if price, but now currently own 4 different gauges from this company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
