Start a Cake Business: At Home, in a Commercial Kitchen, or in a Retail Cake Shop Paperback – November 15, 2012

I think this is the greatest book ever written for anyone who wants to start a home based cake business. I don't have to research anything else. It has it all. Topics such as safety, best practices, health codes, and especially the forms are all right there. Thank you Paula for sharing all that you learned starting your business and published it to share with us so that we don't have to go through all of the research and hard knocks that you went through! Your support team is great. I use this like my bible. Thank you again, Paula!

Great book

I really expected more! Ex., cake sizes and prices, this book produced more legal information, things I knew already.

I am about 1/4 of the way through this book.I find it to be very interesting and a ton of information.I plan on reading it again to highlight the important information.I strongly recommend this book.

I was very excited when I received this book, I've learned a lot about having and running a cake/cupcake business, and great resources.

Pretty thorough and useful information for anyone considering starting their own cake baking and decorating business. More practical kitchen rental options and lists of states who do or do not allow home baking businesses would be nice.

Finally someone wrote a book to the people like ME! Cake artists and entrepreneurs. Love the content and real-life examples to help you on your journey towards owning/operating a cake business....from tiny/in-home to commercial/retail.
