I was really hapy to find these, and even happier once I received them. Very well made and well thought -out, they display antique pistols of different sizes perfectly. My personal preference is to display a pistol on a bit of an angle, and these achieve precisely that purpose. The stands are stable, protect the gun, and are pretty minimalistic so as not to take away from the display of the gun itself. A very simple option to increase the height if so desired or needed would be to simply set the stand on an appropriately sized clear acrylic , dark wod, etc square base. Thanks so much for making a great product and especially that is ts MADE IN THE USA.

Good quality, the area where the gun rests on is well protected. I didn't give 5 stars because the stand lacks protection at the end of the rod (sharp edge) that contacts with the surface that the stand rests on and can potentially scratch that surface. A similar rod end cap used at the gun rest end would solve the issue.

I ordered three of these just to check them out. Now that I actually have these three I really like them. To begin I really do not like the "holds pistol upside down" type of stands. Nor do I like the "put a rod in the barrel" type. These support my pistols upright in a easy to retrieve fashion. I believe that I read one reviewer state that these did not support his large revolvers well. In my collection I have a 8" barrel revolver that sits just fine in this stand. Now the stand positions in front of the grip behind the trigger guard. It does look a little odd with such a long barrel, but it stands just fine. Great fit for my other pistols, both revolvers, and auto-loaders. Will most likely order more as three just will not cut it!!!!! Happy with purchase.
