Be Rich (Ephesians): Gaining the Things That Money Can't Buy

The author was very detailed leaving nothing to chance about what Paul was teaching through his letters. I was so greatly encouraged and instructed by this book. May God add His richly blessing to you, Warren Wiersbe.

Slowly buying this Weirsbee series each time I do a new 32 week study of the book in the Bible. This size makes it easy to carry with my Bible to class.

This is a great study for individuals or groups who want to grow in their faith. Warren is a gifted bible teacher with who has a gift also for writing.

I am a Leadership Pastor at a church and I gave this book to all my small group leaders who are going through the book of Ephesians. Wiersbe is easy to read, but his theology is spot on. It has provided them the confidence to address the difficult questions that come up in their group discussions as well as provide them a depth of study that is not found in a study Bible. There are many great commentaries out there, but many of them require a working knowledge of Greek/Hebrew or at minimal a great understanding as to how to use them. This is not like those. This book is written for the everyday person who wants to know more about the Bible.I use it myself as well. It offers some great insight and puts simple words to complex thoughts. If you are studying in the book of Ephesians, grab this as a guide. It even has some discussion questions at the end of each chapter to help you out.

Fast delivery and arrived as described

Clear and concise teaching. Chapters 1 -3 show us our riches in Christ and Chapters 4-6 show us our duties and responsibilities in our walk in faith, based on those truths.

As usual, Wiersbe is right on target with his insightful study of this text. Though I have read Ephesians, I have never understood it as I do not; and I can see why Warren Wiersbe says that we are rich in the things of God. I had never thought of this text like that, and I am so excited when I delve into this commentary each night. My Bible is right beside the commentary as I read and study and gain a better understanding of what God is showing and telling me about my rich inheritance.

Shallow treatment of the Bible and life in general. It only gives you interesting information to fill up your head but it avoids difficult issues and doesn't help to change life. Good for people with little bumps on the road. I sought help through his books but got disappointed.

Written in an easy to read style, bringing out the application of the word of God to our lives today. Very practical and thought provoking and potentially life changing - filled by the Spirit, walking in truth and love. Most references in Be Rich are to the King James Authorised Version (KJAV) of scriptures. It would be helpful for study purposes if in the Kindle version the many references in BE Rich were linked to the biblical text.

Warren Wiersbe is always easy to follow and uses helpful illustrations. I have read more technical books on Ephesians but found this ideal to use a daily devotional reading. The questions at the end of each chapter are useful.

another excellent book of the series. It is easy to read and understand. A commentary well worth having on your bookshelf to encourage you to study further.
