Books are thick, flaps held up after repeated use. My kids love them. Great illustrations.

We love these books! My mother had one at her house (Animals on the Farm) and my son became obsessed with it, so I went searching for more and found this set. The illustrations and fun characters capture my son's interest time and time again. He absolutely loves lifting the flaps himself as I read. I find them to be quite enjoyable to read and we have fun making the animal sounds.I have never seen such durable lift a flap books before, and this is what really sets these apart from other books, in my opinion. The flaps are not the typical cheap, thin cardboard that inevitably gets bent and torn off of the book. They will last a very long time and be able to withstand a lot of abuse from those tiny hands (and teeth).

My daughter has loved these books since 10 months. She is 15 months now and loves them even more. Very interactive and wonderful illustrations to keep your little one locked in and wanting to read even more.

My baby has loved these books since I got them for her at age 6 months old. She is going on a year old and still loves them. They’re cute books with fun flaps she loves to open up.

We love the lift a flap books and have several already. We were a little disappointed to find that these stories don't rhyme, and I think that makes my baby a little bit less interested. However, the books are made really well, and the illustrations are just beautiful. I'm still glad we bought the set and hope the little one will enjoy them more as he gets older.

I’m a speech pathologist in an elementary school and I LOVE these books for language. They’re super well-made with sturdy flaps and attractive illustrations that aren’t too busy. I can usually get even active distractible 3-year-olds (who know I have toys and they’d rather see a toy than a book) to focus on and enjoy these for at least a couple minutes. When I use these for language therapy I don’t read the text but rather help the child label the animals and describe what’s happening in the pictures, and these are great for that because the same animals appear on every page so the kid can get multiple opportunities using or hearing the animal name with different actions. There’s also a nice variety of different animals presented on each page without the illustrations being overly crowded.

I got these for my niece and nephew's 1st birthday (they are twins) and they are so great! The flaps are super chunky and great for babies who are still learning to be gentle, but not so hard that they couldn't do the flap themselves. As an added bonus the story follows two baby animals in each book a boy and a girl! Twins! (or siblings) but it was perfect for them!

My family loves reading these books to our baby! The pictures are super sweet!

And they’re just sort of boring even though the artwork is really slick compared to the little green frog and friends boxed set (the latter has the little blue boat, little red barn and little yellow bee books also). Despite being a bit patchy in artwork, the frog set had soul and the rhymes are catchy and can be sung. This set despite costing twice as much has almost no depth or emotive value and has some actual errors like owls being sleepy at night (they’re nocturnal!) and baby wolves being referred to as kits not cubs. Some of the animals are so ‘cutened’ in the artwork as to be unrecognisable. Overall I would recommend the little green frog and friends boxed set over this one but if you can only get one peek-a-flap book from cottage door press get the puppies one (or little green frog if you’re not into puppies).

Cute books my daughter loves the other books of the collection. But box was in a bag and all corners are squished in.
