Great light with built-in 'front bottom'!
What a clever bike light!Commuting through London I have seen several crashes caused by bikes breaking suddenly. I bet if all bikes had break lights like this then that number would be reduced. The light itself is bright, very visible in both in daytime and darkness. To put it into context, your eyes get sore looking directly at it although it isn't too bright to blind other road users. There are two settings controlled by a switch on the back; manual or auto. Manual allows you to stick to one mode. Auto detects movement and turns the light on or off for you. Auto is useful if you keep it in the shed and want to leave it on the bike. As soon as you come back to the bike it will sense movement and start glowing again. If you want to put this in your backpack between rides you should set it to manual otherwise it will keep turning itself on in your bag.The button on the front cycles though the different modes (off, on, pulsing, flashing). The unit itself looks surprisingly robust. The casing is metal not plastic which was a nice surprise. The light screws into the holder reassuringly. The LEDs are positioned around the edge of the light giving a nice effect. There are hundreds of decent rear bike lights on the market. This thing is a revelation though due to the fact it detects movement and will glow brighter when you slow down. Note, this is not like a car break light which only comes on when you break. this thing will come on whether you are breaking or just slowing down. The actual effect is slightly different depending on which setting you have the light programmed to. If you have it on pulse or flash it will light up constantly. If you have it set to 'on' constantly it will glow brighter. I'd personally recommend you have it set to 'on' constantly, this way you still give a warning to road users behind you but don't confuse or mesmerise them with a blinking light. Flashing lights can distract drivers, can be confused for indicators and can make it harder for someone to judge how far away you are from them.I did not attach it to my seat as I carry a bag on a rear rack and even when I don't I would worry the seat or my clothes might conceal the light. The light came with some handy zip ties and I was able to attach it to the back of my rear rack.I can't comment on durability, waterproofness, or battery life as I have not used it extensively enough yet.I took a chance on this despite having been caught out with buying cheap Chinese goods online before. Hopefully it will stand the test of time, I will report back if I have any issues.I'll give this 4 stars for now, if they improved the versatility of fixing it to the bike that would a big improvement. If it proves to be robust and the battery life is OK I would be tempted to move this to 5 stars.Comes with some amusing instructions which have several references to a 'front bottom', something was definitely lost in translation there!! 🍑"The front bottom is used to change the flash mode" 🤭Comes with a one year warranty.UPDATE: This has been used for many months now and is still as good as ever. I'm back on Amazon to buy another one for my son as he keeps threatening to take mine!

Bright and decent battery
Nice and bright, handy that it automatically switches from blinking to solid light when braking. Easy to fit and remove for charging. Because it automatically shuts off and turns itself on, you don't ever have to worry about it. Attaches under the seat by zip ties.

Small neat rear cycle light
Great item fits neatly under the saddle, connected to the seat rails. I would prefer a bolt solution rather than zop ties.

Nice little light that can easily be unscrewed and put in your bag
Easy attachment to the underside of the saddle using the supplied cable ties. Light is quite bright and battery life is fine. The light is motion sensitive and gets brighter and stays on when you brake. This works ok but is quite sensitive so it comes on just from the bike being shaken by a bump or something. The light is still there of course so not a major issue. I like how the light screws in to its attachment point easily. Feels secure but easily comes off when you want to lock the bike up without leaving the light on it.

If you cycle, get one of these for under your seat.
This is a rechargeable rear cycle light with many features like solid light, pulsing, flashing and it’s very bright, it’s very easy to fit under your saddle and easily removed for a recharge. It’s well made and has a good battery life. It’s very easy to operate with a simple button in the middle of the LED ring. It changes up with a micro USB. I use this and a flashing light on the back of my cycle helmet. Excellent value.

Not bright enough in daylight
Bought to go under MTB saddle mounted on dropper post (so saddle can go up and down regularly for downhill riding).Pros:- Convenient/secure under saddle mounting (main reason for my purchase) so no issue with MTB dropper posts- No issues with water resistance- OK as additional rear light, wouldn't use as only option though (see cons below)Cons:- Even highest setting not bright enough in daylight- Brake light fairly pointless (rarely triggers at correct times)- Flashing option too subtle - light pulses on and off- Available cheaper under other clone/brand names- Mounting the light bracket under saddle with supplied cable ties (vs rubber/bolt alternatives) mean light is not good if you wish to swap between multiple bikesOverall, I wouldn't buy another one, or if I was it would be one of the cheaper branded variants. Ended up with far superior (if also rather more pricey Exposure TraceR).

Stops working halfway through a ride
This was a full 5 star item when I brought it, sadly the last months, the light just switches itself off for no reason during the ride which is lethal when you do a lot of night riding. So this can only be a secondary rear light for this reason.
