Easy to install. If you use a phone number for your account, make sure it's mobile...
I got the lock almost a week earlier than what Amazon promised! Thanks Amazon and Oaks Labs :)They need to send you an activation code when you setup your account through the mobile app. I ended up using an email address instead; but if you do use the phone number during registration, make sure the number can receive texts for that activation code.I got the whole installation done in about an hour. Most of that ended up being some minor faceplate trimming and fitting for the auto-lock sensor (see my picture). You'll need a phillips screwdriver to do the whole install. If you need to do any trimming of the door frame you'll need a sharp chisel, small hammer, and I used a razor knife (one of the box cutter types). I also ended up using a small led headlamp, so that I could see the threaded holes when you put on the inside mounting plate to the outside piece - didn't want to accidentally cross-thread the outside piece. If you decide to install the auto-lock sensor, the 2-pin plug is a little small, so it might take some needle nose pliers and maybe a magnifying glass to make sure you have the correct pin configuration.Oaks includes batteries, two (2) regular keys (which I don't plan on using), and one (1) RF key. BTW, their app has a different auto-lock which is timer-based (you set the number of seconds). I don't think that feature uses the magnetic reed switch, I base this on the fact I set the timer in the app, unlocked the door and kept the door open and the lock automatically locked at the number of seconds I had setup in the app.I think the lock is really nice looking compared to some others I researched. I can't wait for their hub that's coming out soon, that will make the lock remotely accessible - their app appears to already have the feature ready when they start shipping their hub. Their RF card (the app calls it an IC Card) can easily slide into a wallet or attach to a keychain.Yes, I need and plan to paint my door soon. Oh, this is my first smart lock.

Best value for smart lock on Amazon today
I purchased two lock for my home rear entry and garage (detached). The features fit my requirement in terms of a touch sensing numeric touchpad, this is important because the last electronic door lock I've had for three years had a silicone one that started to fall apart over repetitive use and it did not work well when the weather got cold. Ease of entry was another reason I chose this lock - My wife loves the idea of using the RFID key to get into the house quickly. Programming the FOB keys went without a hitch to my surprise. I installed both locks in about an hour and everything worked as advertised. I had some initial questions about the features of the product to which the customer department wrote back within a day! overall, very pleased with the product, it punches above its price point. There are things that keep this product from being a perfect five star however none of them show stoppers for me1) hardware material could be better. The plastics used on the housing could be better quality - felt flimsy and if you installed a few times that it may not hold up.2) This is an area that needs the most improvement. the app UI design while functional took a while to figure out.3) locking the door from numpad could be easier - Be great if locking was enabled by tapping the FOB on the numpad. Would spare the user a few seconds of waiting for the lock feature to engage by pressing the "check" icon.

Decent Keyless Lock
Pros:1. Looks sleek2. Fair price for the features3. Reasonably easy to install, except that the instructions for the optional door sensor (which you'll want to use) come after the instructions tell you to attach the back. So be sure to read through to that step before putting it all together.4. You can monitor door access (including how long the door has been ajar) via the app remotely.5. It includes one FOB, which is small and sturdy and a little thicker than a credit card.6. There are several options for use: standard key, passcode, FOB, app or e-key.Cons:1. This is not a wifi-enabled lock in the full sense. This means you can only unlock/lock it using the app from a few feet away (so Bluetooth only). The instructions mention purchasing a gateway to do this remotely but the seller said this isn't available yet.2. There are other features that are also unavailable remotely, such as changing a passcode, deleting a passcode or changing the dates on a timed passcode. So this means if you're away from the lock, pretty much all you can do is send an e-key or create a new passcode, which is a random eight digit number that must be used within 24 hours or it is suspended.3. The lock sometimes sounds a bit stiff when it closes. Hopefully this won't become an issue down the line.Overall, I'd say this is a good lock for most people's needs. I had hoped to purchase a few more but I really need the power to delete/change a passcode from anywhere so I'll hold off until the gateway is available before considering any more.

Amazing Smartlock That's a Snap to Install & Configure.
I did quite a bit of research a bit for a smart lock and decided to go with the Oaks 2. I'm really happy I did. Compared to the Weiser and Schlage, the Oaks appeared to be quite reasonably priced. This is an excellent product. The quality is great, the instructions are clear and it was a snap to install. Plus, it looks beautiful! Pairing the lock to the your smartphone was also a breeze. The app has a lot of useful features, especially if you need to assign entry codes to different people and set access parameters. I would highly recommend it.

Works as advertised!
The only issue was I had to make the hole bigger for the lock. The bluetooth connected quickly and the tag works great!
