MONEY WELL SPENT
This is a really great set for the money. The set of pencils you get: 4H, 2H, 3H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B, and 8B. You also get compressed charcoal - hard, medium, and soft - as well as vine charcoal, which is nice if you've never used charcoal before but want to give it a try. Blending stumps so your fingers won't get too messy. Pencil sharpeners so you don't need to switch pencils if you break a lead - the pencil leads don't break easy unless you use a heavy hand. The set comes with a charcoal holder for the vine charcoal to eliminate mess on the fingers.You also get a 50 page sketch book - which alone would cost between $10-$15 anywhere else.If you purchased each of the items separately you would pay well over what this set is being sold for. Excellent value for the money!I really love the idea that it is compact and can travel with you anywhere!The set is perfect for either beginners or seasoned artists.

Great gift for aspiring artist
I bought this item as a gift for an aspiring artist and he has put it to really good use. His Mum says that he really like the kit. The pencils can easily be replaced. It has everything that you might possibly want or need to get started. Thanks.

Great product
I love this Sela set! It has everything that a newbie needs to start sketching. The only thing that I think would improve the product, is if it included a description of what everything is, and how some of them are used. I had to search the internet to find out what some of the pieces were and how to properly use them. Even if the description/explanation of the tools were included in the ad or on the website, that would have been a tremendous help to beginner sketchers like myself.
