First, this is a real review though it may seem like I'm making this up. I have IBS, fibromyalgia and I suffer from depression. I was desperately searching for hypnosis to combat my depression and to help me cope with the pain of my disorders. I've been to a hypnotherapist to help me deal with pain but going across the city got to be too difficult and time consuming. So I decided to purchase sessions on CDs. I have several other hypnotherapy CDs for weight loss, relaxation and exercise: I've tried everything to help me cope. When I came across Mark Bowden's CD it caught my attention for some reason and I decided to give it a try. I can't believe how good this session is! For some reason, it's helping with everything I've mentioned. This CD is powerful and very effective. I only wish I had found it first! Call self confidence self esteem if you will. For me this is the antithesis to depression! Thank you so much Mark Bowden!

I am having such wonderful results with Mark's CD on stopping food cravings that I ordered this CD too. I enjoy Mark's calming voice and the fact that there are two sessions on the CD. The first is to be used when you want to be active after you listen to the CD, the second you play at night and then are guided into a wonderful, sound sleep. I now sleep better through the night after listening to the CD. I am finding that if I play this CD prior to going to a social function I just feel so much more confident. I have only had the CD for a couple of weeks so I know if I listen to it faithfully each day I will become a more confident individual! Great CD.

I have found this cd to really be a life changer. I was initially skeptical, but after listening to a variety of cd's over the years, I have found that the combination of trance and suggestion has put me on the road of positive change. Just hearing about the "magical mirror " alone changed the way I thought about negativity and like a cheerleader, it has given me a foundation for positive self talk. This cd is a great enhancer for putting me on a positive path before I begin work... Who would have thought that one small shift could change your whole life.I now have a library of your cd's to propel me through my journey in positivity and putting me on a better path.

I have used the CD a number of times since it arrived a few days ago. As a customer who used to practice as a hypnotherapist I can say that it works well for me in the sense of induction of trance. There is less progressive relaxation before the visualisation than on some other hypnotherapy CD's but it really depends what kind of induction you prefer. It worked well for me and the guided imagery is relaxing provided that you are ok with relaxing on a hot beach. I would have given it 5 stars but for two minor things of personal preference, I prefer eye closure a little sooner and as mentioned I enjoy a bit of progressive relaxation. I have to add that these are not necessary for the effectiveness of the session and many of the best therapists use much shorter inductions, just my personal preference for a CD. Anyway, so far so good, I will have to see how my confidence levels have been affected over a period of time. I would definitely recommend this to others it makes a refreshing change to the more traditional approaches!

This is a lovely cd and it relaxed me too. This cd helps you to stop putting yourself down and helps you to look at yourself in a new light with a brighter and more positive outlook. The cd is relaxing and Mr Bowden has a very calming voice . In this cd you sort of give yourself a good talking to by looking into a mirror and turning all the negative beliefs you had about yourself ,whether they came from inside you, or from other people,- into positive beliefs .This cd is helpful and I would recommend it
