Family Affair Hardcover – January 4, 2011

After dealing with the year of 2020, I really needed a funny, lighthearted book. A book about two cats and their humans seemed about right. My choice was just right. From the moment Cleo met Dog the cat, I was laughing out loud.From that point the ending of the novel was clear. All I had to do was sit back and enjoy the complications to come . So, that's what I did.For a quick read, with some funny moments, this book did the trick.

A good story. All the characters seemed real. Just proves love can take over before you know it.

I love Debbie Macomber's books. I've printed a list of her publications and the ones that I've read. I was disappointed in two things. One, I'm not a pet lover although I had them as a kid. Two, I would call this a short story or novelette. I was looking forward to a longer story. It was too short to have the power a longer story can give to a reader. It was almost like telling someone a story over coffee.

I so thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, I have loved every book I've read of Debbie's. She's one of my absolute favorite authors. I would recommend her books to all my friends. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, keep writing more!

You do not have to love cat's to love this story. As with all.of Debbie Macomber's books, it is a sweet story of love and redemption. Love a!ways triumphs. I do like the sister and could see a spin off with that story along with the kittens.

I always like how she ties some kind of emotional growth into her stories. Her characters always end up stronger than when the story began.

As usual Debbie did a fine job. Such good reads without a bunch of sex and other immoral things. Just right. Don't know how she keeps writing such great books. I have been reading her books for a long time. My daughter told me about her. Thank you Debbie

I have just received this and can't wait to read it. I love all the Cedar Cove books and will be collecting them one by one. I love the way Debbie writes her books. She makes the characters come to life and you get to know them and they became friends.

An easy to read book but not one of Debbie Macomber's best. I would like to see more Cedar Cove or Blossom Street books.

I have read so many books by this author and each story is different from the last but the final outcome is always the same, a bit like fairy stories for adults.

Debbie Macomber is a brilliant author and works her way through issues in a clean wayno further comment although review requests stated words

As usual a rattling good story, with real people and problems with various solutions to their problems and a non predictable ending.
