I have had a similar one for nearly 20 years, and it probably would have lasted even longer if I had heeded the directions to only use soap and water to clean it. Oh, well, live and learn. For under $2 per year, this seat is well worth the money. It is sturdy and, if possible, pretty.

Beautiful seat not cheap nice and heavy and so pretty in the bathroom makes everything look bright. Very easy to put on.

I have had this same seat that was brand labeled Church which I believe is a sister manufacturing company of Mayfield and it really adds elegance to the toilet with the ivy border. It cleans well and has been tightly in place since it was installed a couple years ago. I couldn’t find it at the Lowe’s where I first purchased it so I turned to Amazon. I’m building a new house and I wanted it for all my bathrooms.

The quality of the material

I purchased these several years ago and just wanted to say that they still look like new and look great in my bathrooms. The border pattern is a nice touch, as most lids are just plain. Note that the finish is delicate so only clean with mild soap and water. If you tend to dribble on the rim, you will want to wipe away any of that because it will eventually stain the finish.

Great product with nice design. Wood and not plastic. Have used this toilet brand for years, and happy they still can be found. A+++++
