This cup is really pleasing to hold and drink from, both with the lid on and off. The lip of the lid is well rounded so that it is not irritating to the mouth, and you almost can't tell that the lid is separate! The exterior is sturdy and with a minimal design so it should be looking good for a long while.The cup is really easy to clean and since it's not a typical tall&thin design, it's very easy to give the inside a good wash each time. It seems to retain little to no smell from previous drinks which is a big bonus as typically these kinds of cups can become a bit smelly after a month or so of use.I've not been able to see how leak proof it is (probably a good thing...). As noted by the seller, it is not leak proof by design as it has a small hole on the lid to let air out, but the hole looks small enough that if it were knocked over it would create little mess. I wouldn't recommend it as a flask (i.e. fill up at home and chuck in a bag) but it's not marketed as that either. I've not managed to test the limits of how long it can keep a drink warm (or cold), but it will easily keep your coffee (or tea) hot for a couple of hours so no more forgotten hot drinks wasted.

I'm very happy with this cup. Before actually pouring coffee in it, I ran a bit of an experiment to see how leakproof it really was. After filling it with water to the rim and turning it upside down, some water did spill, but it was an "unfair" stress-test (nobody is expected to do that in real life!), however, when tilted as if I were about to drink from it, nothing spilled.It keeps the coffee at a perfect temperature for hours. The design is very sleek: the size of the mug is perfect, the lid is comfortable, and it looks nice on my desk.Would definitely recommend if you're looking to take your coffee everywhere with you!

I loved the shape of this cup so I bought it as a present for a friend who is using it at work where it is left in a locker.As previous reviews state it is quite big for small hands (although I like the "big mug feel" and having small hands myself) and it is unfortunate that the cup is not dishwasher proof.The coffee cup is not leakproof with the lid on which I knew my friend didn't mind as he rather drinks from the cup then sucking through a lid. However, the lid is of good help when transporting the coffee from the shop to the desk and it does prevent major spillages when carried upright.Unfortunately, the lid split within 2 months of use.Considering it had not been used for drinking out of and had been stored in a locker and not transported around in a bag this must be due to a design fault and probably derives from tensions in the material due to the change of thicknesses.Update 28.08.2019I have been in contact with the bru company which was very helpful. They had just redeveloped the lid and were kind enough to send me free replacements for my two cups. So far they perform as they should. Bru has contacted me since to check if all is OK which is quite impressive.This company is a young start-up and they deserve a chance - especially as they have good customer service.

It’s a good mug bit the shape makes it too large to fit in a cup holder in a car. It does keep drinks hot for long periods but the design lets it down.

Was looking for something that was durable, keeps my morning coffee hot on my way to work and looks good, I got the black one. This cup works on all levels, ergonomically it feels great in my hand and feels good to the touch. I like the slide feature on the lid and it doesn't drip. The downside which was my fault, I stupidly lost the lid but you can order replacement ones separately to the cup which are reasonably priced. I think it's a very well designed, good quality product that's worth the money.

We first bought this as we wanted a stylish regular sized reusable cup. When we handed over the cup to the barrista, they thought it was cool. Which does affect whether you’re happy to walk around with modern day thermos. I tested the temperature of a hot drink after 3 hours and it was 60 degrees, which is still quite hot. So the double walled design not only keeps it cool to touch but sufficiently insulated the drink. Do not buy this thinking it is a thermos. It isn’t. It will dribble from the lid if it tips over. Less so than it would if you had a regular cup. But it is a very good, stylish cup which feels much more expensive than it is.

A brew in a Bru is the way to go! A great product, excellent sleek style, naming, eco friendly and quality of use is exceptional! Looks great in your desk, warm in your hands and keeps your coffee the same temperature for ages... The main thing that stood out for me was the customer service. The responsiveness to questions was quick and elaborate and the actions are 2nd to none when it comes to customer service via this line of purchasing. Comes highly recommended from my point of view. (I put a Braille label on mine)...
