Wondering about the quality issue. First one I bought in 2019 is still going strong. Second one purchased less than a year ago just stopped working (won't even turn on..."on light" just blinks red and nothing happens. That said...it is a great heating pad when it works: soft; different levels of heat; I like that it turns off automatically after a couple of hours (tho sometimes that isn't consistent).

This is an updated review. I changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. This heating pad worked great for almost six months (heats fast too). Then one day it just stopped working. I tried different plugs, let it cool, etc, but it still did not work. So, I wrote a 2 star review (see below). Then I noticed I still had the box with the original literature leaflets in it. I couldn't find a warranty, so I was about to throw everything out, when I noticed the leaflet that said you could email the company if you had any problems, so I did, and in less than a week from my email, I had a new heating pad. I'd say that's pretty good customer service. I just hope this one lasts longer.Previous Review Gave 2 Stars: Seemed to work fine until one day (almost 6 months from when I bought it), it stopped working. No lights and no heat. I have 3 other heating pads that I use around the house and one in my car that I bought at a chain pharmacy a few years ago, and they are still working.

Every month I would wish I had a heating pad and vow to purchase one for my next cycle of stomach churning, soul crushing, nausea-inducing cramps. However, I would forget as soon as the pain subsided and regret it the next month. I finally bought this heating pad and it worked wonders! I love the strap, it allows me to wrap the pad around my waist or my back and keep it there. I only wish the length was slightly longer to wrap fully around my torso. As of now, I have to choose front of back. There is also no timer or auto-shut off so if you take a nap with the pad on high eat, you could get burned as the plastic bits on the strap and the pad itself get very hot. Otherwise, amazing! Wish I bought it sooner.

This purchase was worth the money. The heating pad though is not consistent. When I put this on low, sometimes there is barely any heat coming through, and then other times it is too hot like it is on High (burning skin hot).I am not sure why it is so inconsistent considering I always use the same outlet and use it for the same location.Also, where the wire attaches to the pad is very awkward and really uncomfortable. You will want to make sure not to use that part when you are using the heating pad because it is really hard and annoying.You can also feel the coil through the heating pad; it waves up and down through it. This can bother you in the beginning, but I got use to it after a while.I really wish that the heat in the heating pad was more consistent and that I would be able to use it on low with the same results each time. I usually use Low because Medium and High get too hot too fast for me.If this is an issue with only my heating pad, then I apologize and would hope that it would be corrected.If that is not the case, then I would say be careful purchasing this product especially if you are looking for a one time purchase that you can always rely on. You get what you pay for.

Love the heating.pad and pit helps so much I have major back issues after being run over by a car I absolutely love this heating pad it heat it up really good really fast and hot enough to help my back really pain but I only had it for a few months like I think I've had it for like six months and it just quit working for no reason it just never came back on I tried several times to get it to try to work I'm feeling sad because I fell in love with this heating pad but now I look at Amazon I was going to purchase another one even though this one quit and such a short amount of time that's how much I loved it but Amazon is out of them and I can't find the box to get my warranty or see if it has a warranty for it or even email the company or anything

First, I love the product. The size is perfect for placing behind back or across legs. The color is pretty and fabric is soft and comfortable. It heats up quickly with washes very nicely. I only gave it 2 stars though because it has a distinct odor during use. After heating up, it smells like heated plastic and dye. I have not had this long and do not see any defects. Although I’ve washed it twice, the smell after it warms up lingers. Unfortunately I will not use it because of the odor it creates.EDIT: I'm changing my review and giving this 5 stars. When I described the odor issue, the manufacturer immediately contacted me and sent a new one free of charge. This one is perfect, no odor, and works great. I applaud Sunbag for taking this initiative and identifying a defect in my initial order. Love this product!!

I use the heating pad mostly because I get chilled easily. I even lay it on the mattress of my bed, which helps me sleep, and I don't have to worry about it staying on all night while I sleep. It likely reduces a lot of my pain, but I have a condition that is painful most of the time, making it hard for me to know how much the heating pad is helping. However, I use it every day, no matter the weather and temperature, so it's been a good bargain.

I bought this for myself to help with my lower back pain. I love it, but my cat loves it more. Part of the issue that was causing back pain was the fact that the cat was always sleeping on my back, but now that we have the heating pad at the foot of the bed set up, that's where he sleeps, and now my back pain is much better.
