Levi's Boys' Big 550 Relaxed Fit Jeans-Discontinued

My son has been wearing these jeans in varying sizes for years, starting with an 8 husky, and just loves them. Having gone up 1 size each time we get more, he has been wearing a 12 husky which I had to hem. I decided he needed a little bigger size for the waist, tho he was not complaining about the 12s being too small. I ordered 14 husky and I can't tell they are any larger than his 12s, including the waist or length.These say the 14H are 33 x 28, & the 12H are 32 x 27. With the waist being a little larger, maybe he is wearing them a little higher making the legs shorter; idk. I've always had to hem the 12s, & they still currently are not too short, but the 14s would not need to be hemmed, so I'm a little surprised. I will be returning these for 16 husky which will likely be a better fit. For years, we have loved these jeans, but he's never gone up more than 1 size at a time. Got the size wrong this time but will definitely keep buying them!

Yay!!! My son has gone all winter with no jeans because I hadn't been able to find any that fit. He is 12 years old, 5'6" tall, and 105 lbs. He is not particularly skinny, just quite tall for his age, so anything that fits him in the waist (regular 14's) is WAY too short. For some reason, Kohls, Walmart, Old Navy, have slim sizes up to size 14 and then just regular or husky. I buy just about anything on amazon, but have never gotten clothes here before. Don't know why I didn't think to try it before. I had to go all the way up to size 18 slim, but they fit him perfectly. They are 27" waist and 29" inseam. (I found a size chart on Levi's website. It was 8slim 22x22, 10slim 23x25, 12slim 24x26, 14slim 25x27, 16slim 26x28, 18slim 27x29, 20slim 28x30.) Levi's jeans are good quality, as you would expect, and it's hard to beat Amazon's price. We ordered the "clean crosshatch" color (my son's choice) which I like a lot better in person than I did online. It is a nice, basic, classic "jeans" color, without any crazy wash patterns. The "550 Relaxed Fit" is also a perfect, not baggy, not skinny, regular, classic jeans style. Highly recommend if you need basic, nice jeans in one of these sizes. Planning to shop Amazon for some khaki's next!

I love this loose fit…I'm a 5'6 99lbs girl and I don't like those skinny jeans for girlsthis one is just the kind of loose that I really like, even better than I have expectedjust a little bit too loose on waist but feels comfortable4 stars for color--there's notable difference between the picture online and actual product(obviously darker)

18 husky. Fit the waistline perfect. Only con is the length. I ordered a husky class jean figuring it would be a normal 18 husky length. Might as well sell the jeans at a normal adult class sizing. Instead of 18 husky just call it a size 36. My 10 year old son is fat. Dont mean he is tall. But otherwise the waist fit perfectly.

I ordered these for my son for my wedding. We did size up and got slim for just a smidge added length since he has long legs, but they fit great!!!

I ordered these in a size larger than he wears and they 100% cotton. I washed them in hot water a dried them on high and as expected they shrunk. Now we know what size they really are. They are a bit loose in the waist but not enough to alter so he can wear a belt with them until he grows into them . It would be nice to know the fabric content of clothing ahead of time.

My son usually wears a boys XXL (18-20) or 18H in jeans. I had to order from 18H all the way down to a 12H before it fit. So these are extremely large. I would order 2 to 3 sizes smaller than what you normally wear. These are good jeans. 12H is a 32 waist and 27 length. I would have given this a 5 star rating if the size was correct but a very good pair of jeans.

I purchased an 18 slim which is 27 waist, 29 length. This is what I had expected and fits my son as expected. This only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because the material has changed over the years. The material for these jeans is thinner than the previous pair of jeans (same brand and style) purchased over 7 years ago.

My son loves them and they look great on him. They're holding up really well too, no holes in the knees yet at all. Love the fit too.
