I want to banana slicer to replace a different one that got rust and calcium stains on it. I wanted something that would be able to go into the dishwasher. Yes this unit is easy to clean, and I don’t imagine it would ever develop any rust or calcium stains, however using it actually flattens the banana which kind of defeats the purpose of me slicing it up.

If the banana is slightly soft, it gets mushy when cutting and spreads out all over. It's easier with a knife and not so messy.

This thing doesn’t work. Leaves banana stuck in the device. Doesn’t cut through. Waste of money.

I know people make fun of this product. Who can't slice a banana? I freeze a lot of banana slices for smoothies. This is a time saver for me. Worth it.

I dislike how the slices are big

Waste of money, They don't cut they smash the fruit. Very disappointed in the quality.
