Mostly good but important caveats; inconsistent width but nice wood
I just got these and a set of Brain Blox.A few specifics on these Kubi Dubi blocks -- especially since dimensions aren't readily listed (most makers of planks like this don't, and I am bewildered as to why they don't):Length: ~120 mm (varying at most <1mm between planks)Height: ~24 mm (mostly varying between 24.0 and 24.4 mm)Depth: ~8mm (ranging from 7.4mm to 8.8mm)The depth variance is unfortunate, because that's a significant size difference on such a short edge. For me this makes it hard to return them to their box completely -- sometimes I can't fit them all in, if one row has too many large blocks or too many short blocks or whatever. So I'll have a few blocks left that don't fit in.Edges are all pretty good. Very few blocks have any imperfections, and the imperfections that exist are minuscule and don't affect things. They are flat and easy to keep standing (the Brain Box had some rougher edges making them flop over a little bit more).The wood itself is nice! As opposed to most sets being made of Pine and having a very observable wood grain, these are made of linden wood (aka tilia wood, basswood, or lime wood). The wood is much clearer, which I prefer. It also feels a bit lighter than Pine (not a huge difference though).The storage box is also very nice and well made. It can be slightly tricky to get the first block out of a row, but they're not so tightly stacked together that it's too hard. It has holes for handles on both sides which make it easy to carry around too.The blocks are all plain except mine came with 10 marked with the Kubi Dubi logo.I put some photos in the review that show these blocks compared to the more typical Pine blocks so you can see the difference (these are the more clear, single colored wood vs. the two toned Pine).

Hours of fun for everyone!
My daughter, son, hairless cat, and even the dog love to play with these block sets! We have combined several of the sets and have hours of fun making cities, destroying said cities and rebuilding them once again! I love how smooth the wooden pieces are and that they actually smell like wood; not chemicals! I love that their natural and not dyed or painted. I also love how they are not traditional square wooden blocks, there are several shapes and sizes which make for endless possibilities. I highly recommend these for your home, if you are a teacher, or daycare provider in early childhood education; they are definitely worth the investment!

PERFECT toy for my 6 and 7 year old
My boys are very entertained with the wooden block set for many hours. They are creative and interactive with each other. Each piece of the wood planks are made well and are the perfect size. I highly recommend this wooden block set to any boy or girl who enjoy expanding their minds and enter a world of imagination.

It builds creativity
My 4yr old loves these blocks and we enjoy building with him. They are a little difficult to get back in the wood box they come in, it’s a tight fit.
