FAT 50, also known as PA 108, are like the regular 50 cal ammo cans but made a little wider and taller. Our FAT 50 Cal Military Grade Ammo Cans feature a hinged lid with a tension clamp-down, a rubber seal on the lid and a carrying handle.

Exactly what I needed
I've used 50 cal ammo cans for years to store snow chains in and keep my vehicles organized. But they were too small for my new truck. These Fat50 cans fit a set for 37" tires with room for the cam tightener and the rubber tensioners. I'll be ordering another for my Jeep.

great size
used it to make a first aid kit, enough room for everything need, lid seal is great and closed tight. when I got it, I opened it and got a sucking sound, telling me it seal great

Waterproof storage
I fit 1k boxed 9mm in this. Love it. some guy did a test with these GI cans by putting ammo in them and submerging them in a pond for a year. The plastic cans all leaked, but the GI cans kept the ammo safe.

So simple, yet so perfect.
A good sturdy ammo can, simple as that. Good rubber seal for water resistance. What I enjoy most is the larger than standard size. It makes an excellent toolbox/lunchbox/ammocan/short step ladder.

Great build quality overall
Great build quality overall. Couple of deep scrapes in latch area, but does not impact function. Since paid premium for new quality would have hoped they would be immaculate. They will work great for my ammo can solar generator projects.
