Shaluoman RC ESC 20A Brush Motor Speed Controller w/ Brake for RC Car Boat Tank

I originally left a 3 star review for this ESC because I had an issue with it and reached out to the vendor for support. Now that I've received their "support" I'm updating the review to 1 star.So here's the problem with this ESC - the "forward/brake/reverse" mode is pretty much unusable to anybody who needs it. Every other ESC out there with a forward/brake/reverse mode does it the exact same way - reverse does NOT engage until you hit reverse on your throttle TWO TIMES IN A ROW. The first time you hit reverse on your throttle the ESC goes into braking. This is what keeps the ESC from slamming the car into reverse until you've actually stopped going forward.This ESC does not operate that way. This ESC only goes into braking mode if you immediately put the car into reverse from a forward throttle position and it is not very forgiving of your timing - hesitate for just a moment with the throttle in neutral and the ESC immediately slams the car into reverse regardless of how fast you were still going forward . If you try to use this ESC in any kind of car on a track you will find yourself accidentally going backwards ALOT and putting a lot of strain on your motor and transmission.As for the "support" I received, I sent the above problem to the vendor and asked if this was the intended behavior and if there was a way to change how it operated so it actually worked like a proper forward/brake/reverse ESC. Their response was "Please see the wiring diagram." The "wiring diagram" is a picture of the ESC you see in the product description with google translate Chinese to English labels and nothing about actual operation. It was less than useful.Anyway, I'm done with the ESC. It's unusable to anybody who actually wants a "forward/brake/reverse" ESC and the seller support is non-existent. Just don't buy this.

Not sure what the little switch does, and the "instructions" (a small photo wiring diagram) don't have it labeled, but the ESC works well on my HPI micro-RS4 1:18 scale w/ FlySky GR3E 2.4Ghz running 2S LiPo. The wires are also of high quality with plenty of copper & flexible silicone insulation.
