The Best
My son has to be gluten free, but as anyone who is GF knows, store bought products are absurdly expensive, and usually contain ingredients I'm not a fan of (seed oils and whatnot). So, I started making his bread amongst many other things; in doing so, I've tried a lot of different GF flours and throughout a lot of trial and error, I stumbled upon this absolute queen of a GF flour, and haven't looked back. I keep a stock of it at all times. The ingredients are clean, I love that it's organic (there is a non-organic option and I do wish I could buy the organic in the larger sized bag), but the results of my breads and other items have been top notch with this. Highly recommend.

Very good!!!
Love love love it HOWEVER I wish they wouldn't put sugar in their other products, it's NOT healthy. Let us use our own sweeteners and natural ones, PLEASE!!!

Truly the best Gluten free flour!
I love working with this flour! I did try the bread recipe that came printed in back of package "Grandma's gluten free bread" However it did not turn out great at all, so I won't try that again. It tasted too eggy and the texture was heavy and dense. I will try other bread recipes with this flour. I have since, made other cakes and goodies with it and works wonderful. Love the quality of this flour. Great price for this big package and it's organic. Highly recommend!

Warning!! They've changed the ingredients and it now tastes like dirt!
I've used this flour for years. I've always used it for making my kids sandwich bread and pretty much everything else they eat that uses flour: tortilla shells, scones, donuts, muffins, cookies, cakes. I even use it in my sourdough started. I've loved this flour and it's flavor for a long time. When I opened this bag, the smell coming out of the bag was so bad, it made me cough. It smelled like mold and was so strong, I had to instantly close the bag. I threw the bag out, thinking I'd gotten an old bag, and grabbed another bag I had from a different order and opened it. Exact same smell! What was happening?!I checked the ingredients, and sure enough: they've changed the ingredients. I compared it to the old ingredients, and sorghum used to be on the bottom of the list with sweet brown rice at the top. Now sorghum is the first on the list and no sweet brown rice flour at all. I immediately wrote to Namaste directly and they confirmed that they did change the formula stating they were trying to fix the "gumminess" issue and that sweet brown rice flour is getting impossible to come by.I tried making a couple of breads, but the mold/dirt taste is extremely strong. My kids don't notice it, but I do, so I can't eat anything I make with it. It also hurts my nose when I use it, so I've already started the search for new flour. Namaste is a great company and they are sending me another lot to see if it's maybe just a bad lot. I really hope that's the case because I used to love this flour, but if they don't change the ingredients, I can't ever use it again.

Works just like wheat flour
We've been very pleased with this blend. It works exactly like wheat flour and the only item that isn't quite as perfect are things like shortbread or almond thin cookies where the gluten in wheat flour assists the baked good in sticking together better, so the GF stuff comes out a bit crumblier. But it tastes and looks perfect and is flawless in any other baking use.
