C-Shape Black Steel Hammock Chair Stand

This would be a good stand, if it weren't too short for various hammock chairs. When my daughter sits on it then it's fine, but when I go on (180 pounds) my butt touches the bottom frame. Before I bought the stand, I measured my chair to see if it would fit, and everything seemed fine, but I had no idea how much a chair stretches when you sit in it. So if you buy this stand, then measure your chair first by hanging it somewhere and having the heaviest user sit in it before you measure it.Amazon also tells customers at the bottom of the product screen that this item is often purchased together with the  Hammaka Swivel  and the  Hammaka Spring . While each of these two items are fine by themselves, neither of them are good with this stand because they lower the chair even more - you definitely will not be able to use both, the swivel and spring together with this stand. If they made the whole thing just a few inches taller, I would give 5 stars.

Easy to assemble. Sturdy to swing gently, wild swinging makes it creak. We had it for years and it was fine. When I put it outside for a summer, being exposed to the elements caused it to rust which is entirely my fault. Use indoors only.

I really like this. It is a lot bigger than anticipated but I use it every day. I do have to tighten the screws every other week or so. One thing that I would request would be to come with clear instructions. They were very confusing and I just kind of guessed.

This was advertised as heavy duty and that it would hold up to 440 lbs. Yet when I received it and put it together, the paperwork lists it rated at 300lbs; similar to the others for sale on Amazon.I read the previous reviews, so I knew what I was getting dimension wise. I was disappointed that my chair was much more stretchy than I anticipated, so for me, a bigger man, it just isn't tall enough. Seems sturdy enough though and we'll see where we go from here.

It was exactly as described online. Easy to put together. The only problem is that it's not tall enough, when the swing is attached and someone sits in it, you almost hit the bottom of stand.

Very heavy and sturdy. Easy to assemble. Make sure it is where you want it because it is too heavy to move too much.

Just what I was looking for to set up my hammock chair. Love it.

Not that steady once you get it together. You can definitely tip over if not careful.
