Best that sci-fi can offer!!
The three body problem trilogy by Cixin Liu is the greatest science fiction story I’ve ever read. It is astonishing how accurately Liu has been able to capture that ineffable feeling that you get, if you’ve ever looked up at the night sky and wondered about the cosmos and our place in it. The scale of this story is beyond comprehension and is filled with immense grandeur, incredible ideas, mind boggling revelations, sheer terror and deep existential dread. The level of shock and awe that some sequences in these books conjure is a thing I haven’t experienced before.

Very Interesting Book
This is my first sci-fi novel, and I must say that watching the Netflix series *Three Body Problem* beforehand made it much easier to understand. Although the storyline in the series and the book differ slightly, having seen the show helped me visualize the scenes while reading. The book has a unique and intriguing storyline. It's definitely worth the purchase, but I recommend non-technical readers watch the series first. Otherwise, it might be challenging to grasp some of the concepts.

amazing book
This book is so raw and factually pleasing. I think Netflix series have changed a lot of things that are not from the story.

Oriental SF at its best
My review from Goodreads:This book is endorsed by the redoubtable George R. R. Martin - First of his name, The Hirsute, Lord of House Verbosity, King of the Sea of Verbiage, Purveyor of Porn & Gore (followers of Game of Thrones will get the allusion). It is based on a First Contact scenario, albeit from a Chinese perspective. Navigating through myriad canorous sounding names like Ding, Dong, Wang, Ying, Yang, Bing Bing was a bit tiresome (no racist slur implied here; it is just that one is used to protagonists named John, Dick and Jane). The book gives a glimpse of recent Chinese history about which not much is known. The plot was quite thrilling especially the computer being constructed by aliens on yocto and zepto scales in eleven dimensions - SF aficionados will enjoy this. Now waiting for Amazon to deliver the sequels The Dark Forest and Death's End.

A futuristic shocker
A very deep scientific insight into the past, present and future. A must read for the ones who are true fans of science fiction. The Netflix series on the book is also great to watch.

It’s an unique, hauntingly beautiful book.
It’s an amazing book, difficult to describe though. To really appreciate the book a reader has to commit an undivided attention to it. It feels like immersing into a slow moving powerful river with all the tributary joining it and giving us more clues. We finally see the big picture and it’s awesome and terrifying at the same time- because it really can happen!I’m in awe of the author imagination and erudition. I also admire a fantastic job of the translator- Ken Liu ( any relation to the author?). I think the quality of his translation contributes to the book success.I’m moving now to start reading the part two of the trilogy. Can’t wait!
