Feels pretty cheap for the price
The box is made from very cheap wood, and even the foam insert feels like it's lacking in quality.The Rupees themselves are quite nice, however, so if you always have them out on display, then perhaps it's worth the money.When opened, the chest plays the "You got a thing" jingle from the Legend of Zelda, which is a little amusing, but overall, I wouldn't say the whole thing is worth over $100.

A high price is due to this item being discontinued. If your rupees move in transit, the styrofoam holders are missing. And I mean holders, plural.This is an excellent addition to any Zelda set. There is some serious weight to the rupees. If I could find more, I'd get my son a set.Would buy again.

Not even a Zelda mega fan should buy this.
I was very excited to receive this item and use it as a display piece for my growing collection, however I can NOT recommend getting this item. Not only did it arrive damaged due to terrible packaging (the rupees inside the chest aren't well secured and will bang around inside during transit), but the chest did not play the item fanfare after putting in batteries, so I can only assume it was broken as well.Overall the quality of this product is terrible, for almost $200 I'd expect this to be solid wood, with high quality hinges and fittings (as well as better packaging and working parts), but the chest feels very flimsy and you can tell it's made of cheap wood.The beautiful designs on the inside of the chest are just an ugly sticker. In fact I don't even know if I can call it a sticker, it's more like a cheap decal that was applied so poorly that there are wrinkles and bubbles all throughout.The ONLY thing that I can appreciate for this item is that the paperweight rupees themselves are very pretty. They look like the only part of this whole set that any time went into.Avoid at all costs, unless this thing drops in price by about $150 it's not worth it.
