Savor his words and it a wonderful and enriching read.
I gave the book a second chance after I saw an interview of LLewllyn on Super Soul Sunday. And I am glad I did. Previously, I gave a bad review of Love Is A Fire because my first read of was rushed; like my other reads of mainstream "fast food" spiritual books, of which are simple to grasp. This book deserves more reflection to unveil it's true beauty. Just like Hazrat Inayat Khan's books this is one to savor and reflect on. It is very deep and needs the time and appreciation to reap the full richness of his message. His words are so poetic and thoughtful you should savor them sentence by sentence. Take your time with this book, you'll appreciate it a thousand times more. This is a book about finding a love relationship with God, and how we mistakenly seek that fullfillment in other people, and in searching in Ego's quest for that sense of completeness of which can never maintain satisfaction. This book has help me know I am on the right path by listening to my heart and only my heart, where God speaks, and trusting his voice instead of the egos.

Love is indeed a fire!
I am still reading, slow reader here, 😂. So far a great book. Finding out that the longing for someone, something outside of this world we are in now, a love experience not offered by this world, is because of the latent memory of coming from a greater LOVE or compassionate being or entity or universe, however you want to name it, is satisfying.

Says it all...
Llewellyn's book is a book which will touch not only those who have experienced the same personal relationship with the Beloved, but those who have this deep longing, constant drawing to this irresistable, unconditional Love that is there in everyone's sacred place of the heart, that tiny space which is God's place alone. This book is a must read for those who want this perfect union with the Beloved and will not be satisfied until... no matter what "religious" background you may have, you will find the Beloved is the Beloved of all.

Lovely. Moving.
I really liked reading this book. It had a bit of the feeling in it of Rumi and Hafiz. I didn't like the last chapter. I'm pretty sure I disagree with the author's end experience of God, but I'll have to get a fuller personal experience myself to say it isn't so. Nonetheless, it was a very worthwhile book for me.

Inspiring
This is one of the best pieces of spiritual literature I have ever read! Right up there with St. John of the Cross in it's sublime, poetic beauty. Very inspiring, I savor every word.
