Six Sonatas For Cello or Double Bass and Piano

This edition is good but you must be ready to read it in tenor clef. It's great to have two parts plus a piano accompaniment all in one book.

This is perfect for your mid icons that is above basics but not yet an expert. It was recommended by my son’s lesson instructor.

Nice! I am still exploring the book, but the book is worth owning. if you can play positions one through four you can play most of the musical phrase s. You will play most of the musical phrases with intermediate knowledge. However, you should know some positions fifth to thumb positions and tenor clef to play through the pieces completely. I do not care to play through the pieces completely and I am happy getting the 80% of the music. I can play up to the A and D in seventh position.

My version that arrived did not have the insert pages for solo bass. This version has the piano music highlighted and the solo bass parts in a tiny font, similar to the Vivaldi Six Sonatas book, however the Vivaldi book had an insert that was just the solo bass parts in regular sized music font.
