ALKO AKS 3004 Stabiliser Friction Pads for Front and Rear - 691418

Instructions to fit are reasonably informative but they don’t tell you to press the wear button fully up to allow the front pad to fit correctly. YouTube videos say to do the rear pad first as the fixing screw is accessed through the front fixing screw hole. I couldn’t as it was at the wrong angle but easy access from underneath. And I did rear first anyway. Very expensive for the size of the item and it appears to be made from hard plastic. Might have a “special” coating of some sort but can’t tell. With luck it should last another 10 years! Would be nice if all four were in one kit. If one is worn they all will be.

Didn’t even know there was a front/rear pad until mine broke. These fit easily and work perfectly.

Goods arrived swiftly and were exactly as described. Not yet used as I bought them to keep as a spare set but I’m very happy with the items.

Very expensive for what they are!

The stabiliser pad had fractured and it was extremely difficult to unhitch the caravan from the tow car, these are replacement parts

One of the side friction pads had broken and caused the hitch to secure itself onto the tow ball. We had to remove the tow ball from car to get it released! So we needed to replace all friction pads. These were so easy to fit and we now have a perfectly working hitch
