dont expect immediate results
You have to wear down the layer of rubber before you will get results. I have seen people complain that they ram through the pads and nothing got polished. You have to wear down a thin layer in order to expose the diamond in the disc. Run each pad on brick or concrete to expose that diamond. I use these by hand polishing agate and other rocks and gems. They work very well and are very durable and you sure cant beat that price!

Does not polish stone floor
I spent many hours attempting to polish the limestone tile in a small 36 sq ft bathroom with this set without success. Using a 5 amp orbital polisher at the recommended 2000 RPM, I worked my way up through the grits. The discs were clearly abrading the stone as evidenced by the milky slurry which I mopped up after using each grit. I made a total of 30 passes with the 3000 grit disk but never got a shine, just a dull matte finish. The floor looked better before I started than when I finished. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because the discs are durable and do abrade the stone, but the fine grit does not polish at all.

Great to have multiple grit discs for various applications
The discs are easy to use because of the velcro backs. I used a random orbital sander with very good success, using single disks for up to an hour with only minimal visual wear. Use was to repair an old enamel claw foot tub. It was a lot of work over a couple days, but the tub looks nearly new again, and the discs will be usable for other projects in the future. Very pleased with the product.

Not bad for the price, worked for me.
For low priced pads they worked. I didn't have to sand all that much. I built and outdoor kitchen and used granite tops. I had to finish the edges that were seen. It took some time but worked. Also keep the surface wet, they won't work right without water.

Work as advertised
First time using something like these polishers so I have nothing to compare them too, but I am happy with the finished results. I used them on some concrete projects with exposed arggergate and was able to get a nice mirror shine. Took a little longer then I was hoping, but that could just be my lack of experience with them. Used with an electric orbital sander and LOTS of water. Overall I'm happy with how my project turned out and would recommend.

Perfect for a concrete countertop
I poured my own concrete countertop for an outdoor kitchen with a steel trowel finish. I tried sanding it down with traditional sanding pads before staining the concrete, but it was taking a significant amount of time. Luckily I came across this type of sanding pad made for concrete (and other stone products). It was fast and easy. It was a bit of a challenge to do a wet sand when it was just me, but I managed. Good product, two thumbs up.

Great set of 7 inch diamond pads
Great inexpensive set of diamond pads. Use plenty of water and low rpm and work your way up the grits. The only issue I had was the hook and loop backing stuck itself so well to the polishing pad that sometimes it took some effort to get it separated, which is a good thing. After taking this rough pour of bagged mix to a reasonable finish there is still a ton of life left in the pads.

Does the job
I poured an 8 sq ft concrete countertop and used these discs with water. I just poured on water from a flower watering can and wiped all the excess away after each grit. The top came out so smooth and it looks great. I highly recommend for this use.

Highly Recommended
I ground down a powertrowled concrete floor to lightly exposed aggregate. It was very time consuming but it looks good and was easy work with a variable speed handheld grinder attached to a homemade trolley for stand-up operation. I used one 100 grit pad for about 144 square feet and it still looks like it has lots of life left. I also polished off the clear epoxy top coat on the same floor and it worked well for that too.
