This product is carbon filter only. There is no Substrate to eliminate Chloramine. This is not the correct filter and request a refund and a paid return postage.

The original that came with the unit was great! Now the replacements have a Styrofoam core so that less carbon material is used and the cost is the same. I was assured it would still function the same but it simply doesn't. Save your original and refill it with bulk material, you'll save money and have way better filtration.

Carbon and catalyst material shifted significantly, divider material was out of place 90 degrees. Was able to unscrew end cap by hand and pour the stuff out slowly into different containers, then refill in proper position. I assume this happens from shipping vibration while laying on the side.
