Nice pictures and cute story
My daughter has recently been interested in gymnastics and I was excited to find this book for her. The illustrations are very nice and the story is very sweet with a good message. It’s very encouraging. I’m not crazy about the removable paper cover on the outside of the book. Those always seem to get removed and torn in my house! 😂But it’s not really needed anyway. My daughter loves the story and the pictures. Happy with this purchase.

Don't give up!
This was so cute for 6 y/o. She loves gymnastics! This is a sweet little story about not giving up and how learning a new skill requires failing many times. She enjoy the illustrations as well.

Great Book for Building Confidence
I bought this book for my granddaughter (5 yrs old) for Christmas and she LOVES it! It helped her understand that no one starts out as a pro. Everyone falls and makes mistakes at first, but if you don't give up and keep trying, eventually you'll get it right and might even be a champion! A wonderful book to help young girls build confidence in themselves in any area of their life. Highly recommend!

Great lesson for little aspiring gymnast! Wants it every night.
At almost four years old and three months into her first gymnastics class, my daughter does loves this book. It taught her a good lesson about getting right back up when she falls; even when it hurts. It has also helped her understand why people might stare when she does her “banastics moves,” alleviating typical shyness. The book is colorful, and it’s a perfect bedtime book length. For a children’s book, I was disappointed in the simplest grammatical errors. My daughter is of the age where I want her to understand how to properly string together her thoughts into sentences with correct punctuation, but this book is written and punctuated as a stream of consciousness.

Very good book!
I bought this book for my daughter’s 7th birthday who is training level 4. It was easy for her to read herself and has a great positive message behind the story! The illustrations are also very good and she loved that the book was by Laurie Hernandez. My daughters favorite event is beam so that was really cool too.
