Outslayer Punching Bag Filled Heavy Bag Made in USA Black Color Boxing and MMA Punch Bag

When I purchased this bag I wrote to the seller to ask for a blue bag and 'D' ring installed on the bottom in order to be able to stabilize the bag while working out (otherwise you would need a partner to stand and steady the bag). Outslayer responded immediately and said it was no problem. The bag came quickly and I was more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of material used as well as the balance of the bag once it was hung. Working out on this bag is a pleasure. With the stabilizing base it stays in place and the bags resistance to punches and kicks is the same no matter which part of the bag you hit. I would recommend this bag over many of the others I have used in the past.

This is an awesome bag. I have noticed since purchasing this bag that Outslayer bags are used at the gyms I frequent so I am glad I went with this bag. I looked at many bag options, not real certain on what kind, weight, size to get and ended up choosing this bag.Looks: I love the customization option where you can add a D ring and pick colors. If you look on the Outslayer website at this bag it gives you visuals of the different color options. I went with the main color blue with black trim and a black section at the bottom. Looks awesome. I had the D ring installed so I could anchor it to some weights when I wanted to do some hard hitting. It has worked perfectly.Structure: I was mostly concerned with weight and hardness. It's still early to know durability but from overall make, previous reviewers and what I have seen at the gym it seems it will last a long time. I wanted a weight with some movement but not so light the bag sways a lot with every impact. The 80lbs seems perfect. I'm 180 lbs and it will move with hard punches but anchoring reduces that greatly when needed. Hardness was another concern because I have hit some bags at retailers and they are like hitting a wall. This bag is nice. I can actually hit it bare fist, but it's perfect with gloves.Overall I am super happy with the product. If I ever need to buy another bag, I will definitely go with Outslayer. Buy with confidence.

I highly recommended this bag! My fiance got it for me for my birthday in September and I use it multiple times a week. We turned the living room into a gym and I really wanted my own punching bag to finish it off! He spent a long time looking for a good bag and when he found this one he knew it was the right one. First of all, I love the aesthetics of it. I know, that's not the most important feature to look for in a heavy bag but this one has that going for it. The gray/silver and black look so sleek! But more importantly, we love the warranty. I was concerned about getting a heavy bag because I had read reviews about other bags ripping. I didn't want to spend all that money and then be stuck having to buy a new bag if that happened. None of the reviews for this bag mentioned that problem. But with the 10-year warranty, I don't have to worry about that anyways.We also liked that they gave the option of adding the anchor point to the bottom. This is really important because my fiance wasn't sure if the 80 lb bag would be heavy enough that it wouldn't move too much. It turns out that I do hit it hard enough that I'll need a heavy bag anchor. (Lucky for me, Outslayer has an anchor that goes with the bag! I hope he gets it for me for Christmas. :)I also like that this bag is filled with fabric and not sand! I hear that sand settles over time and the bag gets lumpy! Another thing to mention is that I am very sensitive to smells and it didn't have a strong smell when I took it out of the bag. There was a slight odor but it wasn't enough to bother me and was only noticeable when I was close to the bag. It didn't overpower the room. And it went away within a few days.The shipping was also really great! It came in a big sturdy cover with a strong zipper that can be reused. If we ever move I can use the cover to protect it in transport.

I bought this bag because they do not use sand. Sand is a great material for the core of the bag. It is heavy, durable, and compliant. The problem is that it does not stay in the core. Most of the bags we use last for a year or so and then the sand bags break. The sand sifts down to the bottom. The filling gets hard and the bottom seams bust out.This bag was filled with synthetic material, cut, not shredded. It is packed very densely. The result is that the bag is rather springy. I prefer more of a “dead” feel where the bag absorbs the impact instead of bouncing back at you. This was my least favorite feature of the bag and did not change after a few weeks of use. In order to allow the contents to shift around a bit, I removed a few pounds of stuffing. The bag loosened up quickly after that and I have since replaced most of the material removed. There is still more rebound than a bag filled with shredded cotton and sand, but much better than when new. Still my least favorite feature, but not enough to detract from an overall 5 star rating.The hanger straps are nice. We have had several people cut by chain hooks while hanging bags (we take them down daily). For us, chains generally last longer than straps, but these are constructed a bit differently and I am optimistic. Also, the strap material appears to be the same material as the bag. Not flat webbing. The edges are softer and less likely to scratch the bare instep of a foot.I am very happy with the bag and have since purchased a 6' version.
