Leading boys according to God’s design is no small task, however, I appreciated most the very practical steps this book provides for how to do that. Would recommend!

Raising Boys by Design is a fantastic book. My son is grown and gone from home, I sure wish this book was around when he was young. I had heard about this book on a radio station and since I drive a school bus with children ages kindergarten to high school, I read this book wanting insight to help some boys have a successful and safe ride to school and back home. This book really opened my eyes to how a boy thinks and their unique needs. I really hope to put this book to use when summer is over and I am back to work. I am hoping to have my daughter read this for her 2 year old son, my wonderful and extremely active grandson. I hope my daughter-in-law will also read this as she is an elementary teacher. As a woman, reading this book gave me several "Ah hah" moments for understanding the men who are in my family, all adults, but still needing to be a Hero. I very highly recommend reading this book, even if you don't have young sons, you will still learn how boys and men think.

My husband and I loved this book for the most part. It was very informative. Honestly, it explained more about my husband than my son at the moment. Our only complaint is that it never explained what to do with the information. So men can "zone out" without meaning anything by it personally...how do I teach a child or discipline my son when he does this. Again, very informative and perfect if just wanting to better understand the male and female brains, but lacking helpful tips on what to do with said information.

This is a great book about boys and what they need to grow up in a supportive environment. I purchased 2 and my son and I are going through it together every couple weeks to help us be better a grandpa and father for our grandson. Both of our wives are learning a lot as a bonus! Plus, they are understanding us better as men are in many ways still boys at heart. Get it if you want to help any boy in your life!

I have not finished the book because of work and the pressures of school, but I reach for it every time I can. I have never enjoyed a non fiction book in years like I am enjoying this one and I'm only 57% complete. I better understand my 12 years old son and I am more aware of what to look for with regards to behavioral patterns and reaction to situations. I know now that I'm not loosing him but that he is growing. I do no't pressure him or provoke him. I can identify with the types of parental strategies used and the effects on his life. I am with ease and more so since the principles does not stray from the principles of God as shown in His word, I pray and commit us daily in the hands of God. To God be the glory, great things He has done. Thank you, to the authors of the book.

Fantastic read for anyone who interacts with a boy or man on a regular basis! Mom, grandma, teacher, etc! Don't miss this excellent read to know more about the men in our lives and love them better!

This book is such a good read. I love both the scientific and biblical aspects. I feel like I understand my husband and two sons much better. I am also an educator and I feel that this would be beneficial for teachers to understand and construct their lesson plans and teaching style around some of this framework. I would recommend!

I've had this book for about a 2 weeks. I'm taking my time to read it. So far this book has let me know what I've been doing right with my boys and what I can improve. I love that the scriptures are used as a guide also. I'm really excited about helping my sons help themselves.

If you have a boy, buy this book. I am learning so much and I'm only halfway through it.

This book is amazing. I've learn so much from it and its really helping me to understand my sons, male students and even my husband more. very educational!!

Almost lost me at the beginning, the wisdom and tips and understanding the strategies of how to connect to various types Of personality that boys experience or can experience has proven helpful in navigating the water that are coming my way. I feel better prepared but also better able to direct how I have discussion and teach my own boys.

Everyone who was a boy, has a boy or would like to learn about how men operate would learn A LOT from this book.
