Very practical, efficient, and easy to use on windows, and for toweling off wet cars.
I love my Vileda cloths, and I’ve used them for well over 50 years now. They’re a substitute for chamois leather, of course, but more practical I’ve found, because they slide over hard surfaces more easily than does leather. They’re easy to rinse and wring out, too.It took me forever to realize the likely origin of the name (pronounced “Vie-Leader” in Britain and perhaps in the USA)…. most Europeans would say “Vee-Lader,” which sounds like “wie Leder,” German for “like leather.” Duh!

A friend highly recommended this for cleaning my shower. She said even when it was really wet it would polish the chrome in my shower. I use it to wipe down the tile in my shower after I bathe, but I don't notice that it works any better than the cheap microfiber cloth I was using before so I wouldn't buy this again. Maybe I'm just not using it correctly....?
