Pandoro Mold 9-Cup

I have been intending to make a Pan D'oRO, yet haven't yet. I can only attest to the mold being well made and of a good quality material. The size is perfect too- not too small which is what I was dreading getting. It's somewhat large, and I'm glad for that.

I had read the previous reviews and consequently I opted for this mold but if i had known, I would have opted for a more expensive or expansive :-) one: the mold is made of aluminium and consequently it is so flexible (may be too flexible?)for the transport that it was delivred in poor conditions: in effect, when I opened the parcel the mold was all diformed like if an elephant had sat on it! Instead of trying to put it back into shape, I should have sent it back because, for example, the bottom will never be flat. Effectively it contains 9 cups and it is pretty big but the price is too high compared to the quality; yet, it is made in Portugal a country where the quality of manufactured products is usually higher than this one. Anyway, be careful to oil your mold before pouring the dough into it and second remember that the maximum oven temperature for this mold is 200 celsius or 392 Farenheit!!!!l Wouldn't like to eat metal would you?

They are very malleable, and they showed up slightly scrunched, but not deformed. Another reviewer mentioned this so I was expecting the situation. Very easy to pry them ever so slightly back into shape.

This product has arrived before the delivery date I've been told it would. It's a bit bigger then I thought but never less it is very good. I've used it already twice. First time dough have been risen on the middle of form and very hard crust formed just in 'crises' of form but second time I used baking strip around form and the cake has been evenly rised and came out of form easily. I am very pleased with my purchase

I love the size of this mold that can host up to 1kg of dough. Great for pandoro and brioche bread.....

I love this pan! If properly prepared, works beautifully for cakes. I used it for Pandoro and everything worked just great. Very even cooking/browning.

As other reviewers have stressed, the material is cheap and should not be heated above 400 degrees but how cares? Pandoro mustn't bake above 340. At this price, it is unbeatable.

This is a wonderful pandoro mold. The mold size is just right. Just make sure that you butter the mold and the bread will slide out perfect.
