Works well, easy to use, but lacking in mixing instructions
This worked great. As others have noted, my only issue is the mixing instructions were quite lacking. I understand why, though, because there are so many variables and the manufacturer has no way to know all of the variables. Results will vary based on whether it is added to paint, poly, etc.Refer to the photo for my mix and the results. I used about 1 heaping tbsp of powder to about 1 cup of water-based poly. The resulting texture was close to about a 220-grit sandpaper on the finished surface. Enough to add some grip and texture while still giving a visually appealing finish. Good product and recommend using.

Follow other reviewers guidlines for how much to add.
I was refinishing stairs in my home when I noticed they would be quite slippery. I saw this product online. After reading reviews, I had to approximate down since the package is built for a gallon. I used approximately 1/3 the concentration (a teaspoon per cup), and the stuff really works. It is just rough enough to hold socks going down stairs. It is totally clear and unnoticeable except the stairs feel like used up sandpaper, a little rough. I also have a lot of extra in the bag since 13 stairs takes about a cup of polyurethane.

Great product but not clear as advertised. Would buy again.
For image reference, one of the wide angle lense pictures is before application but after one layer of epoxy, the other three pictures are all after the final coat mixed with the grip powder. Ignore any bumps you might see, it's just water from the last shower. But the TLDR version is that the product works great to add grip, even submerged in soapy water. However it's not clear. It's slightly murky. The powder inside the purchased bag looks similar to baking soda. Very fine and extremely white. I did follow all instructions on both the bag and the epoxy. I used a heat gun to pop any and all bubbles so those whiter murkyer spots are not from very fine bubbles in my epoxy. Those are simply thicker areas. I decided to epoxy the floor of my shower for two reasons. First and foremost is that I did a bad job at laying down the tiles originally. It was actually a failed cement pour making the floor have low spots. Water pooled in certain areas. One spot was over half an inch! The second reason was for the feel of the broken tiles on your feet. I didn't like the sharp edges. Keeping the room at 75-80 degrees with a space heater, and pouring three coats of no more than 1/4 inch thick, I was able to get a complete and solid pour. I'm overall happy with the project. The murkyness is a necessary evil. In a future project, I would probably use this product again.

Works Great!
I used this product on the wooden rifle butts of my BB and Pellet rifles so that they would no longer slip inside my shoulder. I mixed the Clear Grip powder into Tru-Oil by Birchwood Casey (available on Amazon) until it was a slurry, or a not-so-thick paste in a plastic cup. I brushed it onto the butts of the rifles. When dried it provided a non-slip surface. Looks good too. Rubbing my finger across it I can feel the tiny, sand-like bumps. When I painted it on I couldn't see the sand and I was worried it wouldn't work. But when dry the tiny, sand-like bumps showed up visibly. I highly recommend this product.

Works Okay
I bought this for non-skid for my swimming pool epoxy coating. It does work but you need to apply more than the recommendation, in my experience. For pool epoxy I would recommend applying a small sample on a concrete stepping stone to ensure its not too slippery. I used it on my spa and it was extremely slippery even with the recommended amount, I doubled it when I did my pool and it was much better.

Excellent
Works great! Solved my slippery steps problem. Didn't need as much product as I thought in my sealer mix. It blends seamlessly and clearly into polyurethane. It does however get rid of the semi-gloss look on the wood and becomes a matte finish but that's the trade-off for safety. My dog slipped twice before I put this on and wouldn't go down the stairs anymore. After this we all go up and down the steps with ease, even with socks. The product creates a perfect anti-slip grip without causing your socks stick or catch. Highly recommended for your family as well as in rentals as a landlord!

Works extremely well on a wooden deck for a little traction
After staining our 18x22 deck which already has sealer, I wanted to add an extra clear coat of stain to the deck but my wife was already telling me it was too slippery - which it was. After a lot of research, I decided on this product. I mixed one bag to a little less than 1 gallon of sealer in a smaller container and "went to work". You need to make sure you routinely stir the product around as it does settle to the bottom. It dried clear and provides enough traction for us and the dog as she rounds to corner to chase those invading squirrels.

Non-skid
I used this on a ramp that was part of my deck, primarily used by my dog. This is a new ramp that was stained a few months ago, but my dog slid on this wood ramp until I used this non-skid grip additive. I mixed the additive with the oil based stain. It went on easily and looked exactly as it did when it was first stained, except now there is absolutely skid-proof. It still looks smooth, but provides outstanding non-slip when walking on it. Even in 90 degree temps, it took 48 hours to dry thoroughly. A very inexpensive way to ensure no slipping or falls. OUTSTANDING!
