This is an excellent lip balm, whether in the service of healing Herpes or just soothing dry lips, and the aroma(s) - delicious!

This does not dry out your lips like other ones after the product dissipates. It does tend to dissipate fairly quickly and it’s expensive for a chapstick-maybe add more product in the tube as it’s pretty limited for the price!? With it in my opinion however as it’s the only one I’ve found that actually hydrates and improves. It may be made for people with cold sores but I have never had any and still use it. Maybe make another version for cheaper that is for everyone!?

Been using quantum Super Lysine+ for at least 4-5 years. I noticed the cost was up; but, you know, everything is up. I tried the strawberry flavor this time. Gotta say, it feels a little different. As though there is more wax, less softness to the application of it. Can’t say I’m super impressed with the flavor. Hope it works like the old.

I get cold sores while under stress. I am getting divorced. I have two toddlers. I was potty training one. I am also in school. I am very stressed and I had a constant cold sore for over a year. I took super lysine + pills every day. I still got the tingle. I would medicate. I still got a huge cold sore. It would hurt so bad. It would scab over, bleed, be a mess. You know the drill. One day I was standing in the pharmacy line to pick up medication for my sick toddler when I saw a cold sore lip balm. I had questions. How would lip blam help? Aren't you supposed to throw away lip balm and lipstick after a cold sore? Wouldn't it spread the virus to the rest of your lips? I looked up the product on Amazon and was led to this brand by the reviews. Everyone loved it. I got the strawberry kind. After I got it, I never got another cold sore. Fast forward TWO WHOLE MONTHS!!! My tube goes through the laundry on Monday. Amazon was out of stock. "Oh don't stress about it. I bet its all in your head. You just aren't stressed anymore." (nothing has changed in my life, I was just hopeful). Tuesday, back in stock, but I don't order because I'm less stressed and all, remember. Wednesday night I decided to order. Thursday at noon I feel the tingle. I take all the pills as usual and check to see when my shipment will be here. Friday at noon it arrives. I have a small cold sore at this point. Nothing too noticeable but it's definitely there (my cold sores start on my lips before the spread above or below into the raging noticeable regions). I fear rubbing the lip balm over my lips will spread it but I am desperate and I try it. It worked! I am officially 10 hours from the first use of the lip blam and the cold sore has decreased in size! No scab! It's just getting smaller!!! And it has not spread.

This has become my go to lip balm, I wish it was more moisturizing but the benefits I get from llysine is undeniably worth it. For people that suffer from hsv this is a game changer.

The only chapstick I is. It's a MUST HAVE.

I get cold sores sometimes but since I use this they don’t come so often. I love the non offensive smell and the perfect glide.
