Very soft and durable. Exactly what I was looking for.

This is a great brush. It holds tons of water/color. It's smooth, easy to use, and can do much more than just a wash.The drawback is that it loses a hairs during use. But eventually it loses less to do few it can be dealt with.*I saw a YouTube video where someone squeezed a bit of super glue at the base if the hairs (where they come out) on the dry brush and let it dry (holding handle down to apply & to dry). I tried it and got a bit too much and got it up higher into the hairs some and made that part hard as a rock. I'm not happy about that but it still works as the brush hairs are so long, and absolutely no more hairs come out.I may try it with my other sizes. Either way the brush is worth trying. I use mine for watercolor.Overall I'm pleased with and enjoy using this brush (all the sizes I have).

As many reviews stated, this brush looses a lot of hair, making quite a mess when having to pick each hair off of painting. I also personally feel it's too soft for my needs and doesn't pick up the watercolor well.

I use a hake brush as a drafting brush for working with colored pencils. This brush is ideal for that purpose because it is small and soft. The brush removes colored pencil crumbs quickly and easily without smudging the paper. It is also easy to keep clean with mild soap and water and dries quickly.

Excellent, Just what I have been looking for clean your eraser crumbs! Beautiful brush soft and the right size. Instead of the big ones for drafting! I will be ordering another, So I will always have one thanks again Amazon!
