I'm just getting going with HF after purchasing a ICOM-7300. Having maxed out my funds on the transceiver, I didn't have any left to get a really expensive antenna. So, a modest antenna, but it wouldn't tune with the auto-tuner in the radio. I received dispensation from the boss (my wife) to spend a little more money and purchased this antenna tuner.Amazing!I have the G5-RV Junior (space considerations meant a shorter antenna). The IT-100 tuned it across all the bands supported by the antenna. Flawless and easy. It's plugged in to my Icom. The control is right there from the Icom itself. There's nothing to it. I have had this tuner for a month now and I absolutely love it! It's so much easier than the old MFJ manual tuner I had before it. It plugs into my IC-7200 tuner port with no problems. To tune, all I have to do is press the TUNER button on the Icom and it tunes up. I am running a homebrew 25 foot / 7.62 meter vertical and a 60 foot / 18.29 meter end fed horizontal antennas and it has no problem with either one, tuning them to 1:1 to 1:1.5 easily. The manual states that it's for 125 watts max SSB, 30 digital modes, and 100 max on 6 meters. If you are running digital modes over 30 watts, you are going to burn out your finals on your 100 watt radio, so the power handling levels are reasonable.If you are using a modern Icom radio, you really want to get this. You won't regret it.

Great HF tuner for the icom 7100 hf radio. I wish it coukd handle more RF power and also that the LED indicators were more clear. They blink codes to tell you if itnis tuned etc. Why not just have an extra LED for 20 cents that indicates “tuned” or “high swr” instead of the cryptic flashes.

This is a great answer to multi band antennas. I plugged into the back of my Icom 7300 and a touch of the Icom "tune" button does the job. I'm not certain what range of tuning it is capable of but I successfully tuned a 10 meter vertical for use on both 20 and 40 meters very quickly. Great investment.

I have a vertical hf antenna. Connected the tuner to my IC7300 and it works great. Got good low swr on all the bands. I recommend this tuner for anyone who can use it on their rigs.

Great tuner if you want auto tuning. Used it with ic-7100 and worked great. Upgraded to the fmj949eN7BSH

It is a good tuner. It is very easy use. It seems to tune up myalpha delta on all bands.
