Is what it says
This item is to make sure reloading is correct and it will fit in the chamber. Very good price compared to other places.

On Small Side of Spec
Correct size cartridges did not fit. Too small near end of case. If cartridges were on minimum side of spec would be OK

Case Gage- a must have!
Works great! The serious reloader should check every round loaded in a chamber checker / case gage. This worked fine to check some .380 auto that I loaded. For all other calibers rifle and pistol I actually purchase an "EGW" "Chamber Checker." The case gage is used most of the time to set your sizing die (for case shoulder adj) where the chamber checker checks the empty brass or the loaded round and it falls cleanly in the checker it will chamber properly. With the advent of unsupported barrels (Glock's for example) the pistol brass must be restored by utilizing a pass through de-bumper like Lee's Buster or Redding's GSX, then the brass resized- I prefer utilizing the Lee "undersize die" for the caliber, as it resizes the brass about .001 more. Then I trim the brass if nec and clean up the primer pocket with an RCBS primer pocket uniformer. When each batch of brass is made ready I mark it and update the "things to do list on the bag" now they are ready (fully reconditioned) for reloading.

Rusted out
So it came all rusted out and I cleaned it up but in doing so my 380 cases don't fit good , honestly it was a waste of money and time since I don't have a lot of free time now gonna have to get another one else we're so it has delayed me with reloading their for had to cancel a range trip with friends.

OK, this is good.
These things are built to last forever along with the cockroaches and Twinkies. I ran my already finished reloads which I have been checking carefully with digital calipers and with several brands of factory. Most fit perfectly. A few from both categories had to be lightly thumb-forced into and out of the gauge. I marked those (Sharpie on the primer) to see if there's any difference when I get to the range. I don't expect any problems since technically they all fit into the gauge (with a lot less force than the slide with exert on them. Maybe a feed problem here and there. I'll update this review once I shoot I know I want to use these to check cartridges as I reload them.

Easy as 1
When reloading semi auto ammo you HAVE To BE RIGHT.Otherwise expect jams. This little gadget instantly lets you see if the casing will properly fit into the chamber without any problems of fit. It also instantly shows the length of the bullet is proper depth. Insert the finished round, , see if it slides in properly, turn the gauge onto the the bullet side and place on a flat surface. If it wobbles the bullet is not set far enough into the case. Easy as 1,2,3 !
